Journal #1 – October 10, 1997
Etheria is a hidden gem in the sea. I saw the most beautiful buildings and forests on this island. How could a place like this be hidden away? Something wasn’t right. I was told creatures exist here that are more dangerous than any living being. Creatures called volyrs.
I’m honoured to conduct research on such a species. They don’t call me an animal guru for nothing. Here’s to my first day.
I adjusted the nightlamp to better see the old, cursive writing. The USB was password-protected, so I’d moved on to the binder with loose pages, which were my father’s journals and findings.
