“Alpha! There was another attack!” Multiple men all rushed into the office where Ashton and I were sitting, he was at his desk and I was lounging on his chaise. We were developing a plan to catch the intruders in action when the men barged in. Ashton immediately stood and walked quickly towards the men.
“Take me.” I immediately stood and followed behind him, correcting him.
“Us.”
“Of course.” Ashton nodded as the men led us out of the safety of the pack house. It wasn’t as close to the pack houses as the previous attacks were, therefore we drove, turning off at a small dirt parking lot that was the entrance to a very popular hiking area within our limits.
