Poppy's P.O.V
"I don't want you to go, Poppy, I forbid it. You can train after hours with me instead." Ashton's assertive voice rang out as I was readying myself for today's combat practice. I rolled my eyes in return. There was no real reason for me not to go, and this was something I very much felt a duty to do.
"Yes, because knowing the Luna is training separately makes people so excited to put their lives on the line for us." I retorted, snorting due to the complete idiocy of the claim Ashton made. " If I could kill their top defence general as well as one of their higher members, I could handle a little practice." I felt Ashton's strong arms wrap around my waist as he pressed his nose to my neck, inhaling my scent.
