Ashton’s P.O.V I stood in horror at the scene that the young wolf brought me to. Hell was a nice way of putting it. Bodies lined the forest, broken and bloody from the battle that was raging behind the thick blanket of leaves. Cries of war and agony echoed, bouncing off of the large trunks of the forest. Wolves in combat were sprinkles throughout the darkness, they’re attacks so fast that they simply looked like blurs. Blood pooled throughout the forest floor and spattered amongst the trunks and leaves. A young wolf was groaning in agony while reaching out to me. His face was completely distorted in pain.
