I entered Poppy's room and threw myself onto her bed, covering my forehead with my arm.
I never thought that my father would be capable of doing something so stupid. He would kill hundreds of our loyal members just to have a chance at being the largest pack.
I groaned and shook my head, looking up at the ceiling. I really need the Rookie to come out so I can get some sort of release. I used my free hand to touch the scab on my cheek.
How will I be able to face them after this? I walked away from them before they were done. They're going to be so pissed with me.
I sighed and rolled onto my side, looking down at the entrance of the door for her to come in at any moment.
