“Poppy?”
“Poppy!”
Ashton and Jacob’s loud frantic voices caused me to stir. My body felt like it had been hit by a train, my entire body ached and my head pounded. I forced my eyes open to only see white, I winced and squinted, finally seeing the outline of a man on either side of my naked body, crouched with their faces twisted in concern.
“What happened?!” Jacob’s loud voice boomed causing me to wince from the sharp pain of my head. Noticing my pain he quieted yet his town was full of aggression. “Poppy, your covered in blood and bruises, what happened to you?”
