I grasped my mate's hand tightly as we entered the large modern front door. The once traditional hallways and furniture were now replaced with stark white walls and dark wood flooring. Walls have been demolished as modern furniture donned the new space, now much more open than before.
"It looks amazing" I whispered to Ashton, who grinned at me in response, squeezing my hand gently as he winked.
"Thanks, I picked it out myself. " He paused for a moment, his eyes scanning the room full of people as they laughed and drank together. "Remember, this is about securing as many Allies onto our side as possible before the attack takes hold."
