Chapter 5

AUBREY:

"Oh Jesus!" I said as I covered my face in embarrassment as I noticed I was still in Newton Del Mundo's arms. "I'm sorry I got carried away by the sway without music." I said as I looked down and played with my fingers nervously.

"It's nothing for me and you don't have to be sorry." It'll always be nothing for him of course, so many girls are dying to be in that arms and so many girls have been there just that they all end up crying.

"I would have hated myself if I wasn't here for you today, and I'm telling you right here and right now that I'll always be there for you." Newton said sounding so convincing

"Tch! Even though he's always there, he's still promising to be there always." I said silently.

"Huh?"

"You said Uhm...I mean I don't think I deserve all the time you've spent with me and now you're even promising to spend more time." I said sheepishly as I continued. "You've got tons of girls to deal with and dump after." I said laying emphasis on the 'dump' with a disgusting look.

"She said tons of girls." He said as he was laughing which me see how frickking cute he was as he threw his head back in laughter revealing his Adam apple.

I started laughing when he made stupid cute faces. He started with the bunny look, then he pouted which made him look so much like a baby. He always had his way of making me laugh when I drifted to this side of myself.

"Okay! Let's get this straight. I see it as making a business deal, and what happens when you're done with the deal? Everyone goes their separate ways right? That's it. Yunno I'm just too sweet, cute, handsome, and good to be overlooked. I'm everyone's…..no don't let me sound weird, I'm every girl's dream guy. So it's really not my fault, it's because I'm too endowed with the angelic beauty."

There he goes again bluffing about how handsome he is. Right, everyone knows he is but does he have to this all the time. Urgh!

"I'm thinking of becoming a model, yunno if I'm a model then they won't take their eyes off me for a second. I mean those girls, then I'd be someone like the popular Korean modelling actor "Lee Min Ho" the beauty god himself."

"Yea...I agreed with him. He has the eyes, his face is goddamn beautiful, he has the swag, smile, even his straight is so overwhelming and to top it all, he has the pride and his aura is soooo cool. But what to do? Mr Newton you have none, not even a single quality of the beauty god." I said sarcastically

"Huh? Did you just say that?" He asked in disappointment as he widened his eyes. "I actually thought you were going to take my side, but then I tend to note sarcasm and I know when people are being sarcastic."

"Of course you will note sarcasm." I interrupted. Someone who is as sarcastic as you are will always know it, but I was not being sarcastic just now I was speaking the truth. I said knowing deep down in me that I just described him and not Lee Min Ho.

"If it is, then that's an ironic truth which automatically is a lie."

I wanted to laugh but I can't allow myself to be found out. I can't let him know I just described him, because that would just let him keep on bluffing, so instead of laughing or smiling, I just shook my head and put a fake straight face on which was smiling underneath.

"Okay let's do something. Do you have any of his pictures?" he asked.

"No not even one" I answered

"Huh! That's weird"

"How?"

"How come you described him just now and you don't have a single picture of him? That totally absurd."

"Why do I need Min Ho oppa's pictures on my phone? He's not my celebrity crush and moreover I don't do all this celebrity crush thing. It wastes time."

"Huh? Yes! That right. Wait you don't have a celebrity crush?"

"Yes. Did his brain just process what I said earlier?" Tch! why did he say yes earlier..babo. I thought before I answered. "Yes, I totally said I don't have one cos I don't need one."

"You're so weird." he said as he rolled his eyes.

I started laughing so hard while he just stood there and watched me in amusement cos he didn't understand why I was laughing.

"Must have missed that joke." He said still looking at me in amusement.

Still laughing I tried to speak while clutching onto my stomach "Did you just call weird?"

"Yes and even right now you're weirder"

"Weirder"….I repeated as I increased my laughter which I stopped abruptly as soon as I started.

"Holy crap! That was too creepy" he said as he made distance between us. "Will you stop being like this already? I'm starting to get scared already."

"Huh? The mighty Newton Del Mundo is starting to get scared, is that even normal?"

"No of course not, because you're not right now."

"Okay I apologise for getting you scared, it's just that I get this joyful feeling when someone calls me weird, witch, evil, and other things like that. Or when I'm called proud. Being called proud actually depends on my mood. So avoid calling me these names if you don't want to ever get scared again." I said while trying to reduce my oxygen debt.

"Yes ma'am." He said but still kept the distance.

"Oh right!"

"What is it" he asked

"What time is it? I really need to search for my friends, I left them in anger and tears to come here before you found me and helped me calm down. Yunno I really want to thank you for all those times including today."

"Sometimes I feel like you're a knight for the dark princess who's always there to save her anytime she's in trouble. I mean you saw me crying the other time and you didn't even bother to ask what was wrong instead you went ahead and treated me like a baby, made me laugh, and promised to be there for me every time. Isn't that too much for me?"

"Urgh! Why do you talk too much and bother about unnecessary things? Anyways it's not too much for Princess Aubrey. She deserves more." He said with a beautiful smile on his face.

"Princess Aubrey?"

"Yes, you just said you felt like I'm your knight and you're the dark princess. So therefore, from now on you are royalty to me and I'll do everything I can to protect princess. Oh! Less I forget, your majesty; long live Princess Aubrey". He said as he bowed his head.

I had no other option but to smile and also bow before I said "thank you knight Del Mundo" where he laughed afterwards. Before I could say another thing, I was interrupted by my ringtone which rang out so loud.

"Black pink

I searched for my phone to answer the call but it was too late. It stopped ringing already.

"Oh no! I've missed 15 calls already. I was too engrossed in our conversation that I didn't even realise my phone was ringing."

My eyes widened as I saw that most of the calls were from Aurora. I knew that little minnow cares a lot about me, I said as I smirked which later turned out to be a smile.

"I need to get going, they all must have been worried about me."

"No problem princess, I also need to find my brother."

As soon as we started making our way to find our people, he stopped all of a sudden making me stop as well before he turned to ask me

"What was that other name you called Lee Min Ho the other time? Is that his second name?"

I was lost in thought trying to remember the name he was talking about.

"Hello." He said as he waved his hands before my face.

"Huh? Oh yeah."

"I can see you don't remember, so I'll remind you. We were talking about Lee Min Ho and you said "why should I have Min Ho..."

"Oppa's pictures." I interrupted before I continued I'm not dumb so I remember. I said while pretending I hadn't forgotten.

"Yes. But I think the princess is dumb but she wouldn't want her knight to find out. I said silently before I continued. So tell me is that his name or his nickname?"

"Aissh! How do I want to tell him? I can't let him know that I'm an half cast. Even if he would know later on cos I just have to tell him, but at least not now. Hmmm it's not his name neither is it his nickname."

"Ohh so what is it then?" I just want to know"

"It's just a name he's being called by his fans." I lied, but it's more of truth cos his fan girls are always like "Min Ho oppa,"

"That's something like a fan name?"

"Yes, some people call him Min Ho oppa instead of calling his full name.

"Ohh okay thanks." He said on a lighter mood and there was an awkward silence afterwards.

Even though I have to part with my knight now, I know his eagle eyes are allows following me everywhere I go.

"I'll go from here princess. Make sure you take care of yourself and please do call if you need anything or if you need someone to stay with you." He said as he winked and waved goodbye.

"I will and please do take care of yourself as well Knight Del Mundo" I said with a smile.
