CONFRONTATION
The next evening, Johnson stood with his back against the wall as he watched his father swim up and down the swimming pool. He had called his father to invite him over for a discussion about all these secrets.
Lisa was visiting with her friends, and he was at peace knowing she wasn’t on her own tonight.
Johnson wondered if Eddie had seen the intruder fleeing or anything unusual when he drove past the day of the break-in.
Even though Johnson had had time to absorb what his aunt had divulged about their affair, he was still angry at his father.
The ripples in the pool caused some of the water to rush almost over the edge. The last pool guy obviously filled it up too much and he’d have a word with him about his work. Debris floated to the surface near Johnson. T
