HACKING SKILLS
Johnson drove Lisa to work on Monday morning and walked with her to the front entrance.
“You know I am perfectly capable of coming to the front entrance on my own. You didn’t need to walk me here.”
Johnson stroked her hand. “Until they catch this nutter, I’m not taking any chances.”
“I’m starting to feel like a little kid. Please don’t stifle me like this. He’s been quiet for a while, and maybe he’s stopped. Maybe he’s returned to Africa. If the rebels orchestrated all this, then maybe he’s home free and has gone back to Africa.”
Johnson shook his head. “You don’t know that. We don’t know anything for sure. Let’s wait for the police to tell us something. Like my father said, maybe the rebels weren’t involved in all this. I have to keep you safe.”
