{'I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night'.} ARISA I entered our school building, totally bothered about how could I convince Olivia to agree with our plan. At the same time, my mind was waving with dirty thoughts of what could possibly happen on Sunday afternoon with Quinn alone. Once I arrived at the lobby, the receptionist gave me a half-smile once she recognized me. I tried being nice by giving her my awkward one. I headed to my locker seeing my friends waiting for me there while they talked about whose girls were going to be joining our cheerleading team. "Good morning, girls," I greeted, opening my locker, putting the stuff I need for my class in my bag. "So did you already come up with a plan?" Hilary asked as she leaned against the wall of lockers. I shook my head 'no' which earned disappointed sighs from them. "Hey, horde of dykes!" I heard someone say insultingly so we all turned our heads seeing Timothy sneering at us. "What's your problem, Timofreak?" Tiana asked in annoyance. He laughed in amusement and then his jaw clenched. "What's my problem? You are asking me what's my problem?!" Tiana frowned. "Are you deaf? Or just plain stupid?" Timothy almost lunged at her but he halted, gripping his hand into a fist, and then punched the locker at his side. We all looked at him like he was already out of his mind. Hilary spoke before he could turn to Hulk, "Bailey, can you control your boyfriend just for a second?" "He's not my boyfriend," Bailey said so we looked at her confused. "We aren't together." That made Timothy gripped Bailey's arms so Tiana pushed him forcefully off her girl. "Seriously, Timothy? Are you out of your mind?!" He looked at her intensely and then laughed cynically. "So you broke up with me because of this dyke?" "Hey!" I shouted at him. "Watch your word or else-" "Or else what?" he cut me off and screamed in my face, "You're going to call your Daddy!!" I creased my nose at the smell of his breath. "Can you watch your breath, Timofreak?! You stink!!" All of his veins popped out of his head as his face reddened with rage. He raised his fist to assault me but someone nudged him strongly that made him fall on the floor. Two guys stood between us, one of them raised his arms, engaging in a fighting stance. "Wanna fight?" the guy asked while he c****d his straight blowback hair. The other guy with mohawk sandy hair boosted up the growing audience (which I didn't notice) by shouting for a fight. Timothy got up to his own feet with his eyes filled with anger as he glared at the guy in front of us. The stud guy crossed his arms revealing his muscle tone, showing off to Timothy with a cocky smirk. Unfortunately, Timothy was smart enough not to take his challenge so he turned around after giving him a finger and made his exit. "Are you okay?" he asked, turning to us with a gorgeous smile. I was about to answer but I noticed that he was not looking directly at me but at my best friend, Hilary, who was now staring back at him with a shy smile. Raising my brow as I looked at their exchange, I made a note that my best friend definitely had a thing with this guy and this was my time to pay her back for helping me with Quinn. I cleared my throat that made both of them jump slightly in their own place. My best friend blushed while the guy scratched his head timidly. "We're okay. Thanks..." I said, trailing off and gestured for him to tell us his name. "Alec... My name is Alec and this is Xander," he answered, draping his arms over his friend's shoulder. Tiana giggled. "Awesome names. They sound gay together." Hilary elbowed her lightly on her side. "What? It's a compliment," Tiana defended herself. "So how about sitting with us at lunch later?" I offered and I felt Hilary tugged my Prada casual summer dress lightly. Alec grinned wide. "Cool. It's really rare for Arisa Gail Valentine to invite someone over lunch so I guess I'm going to take this offer," he said and then he gazed at my best friend with a smile. "And besides, it's not usual to have a nice lunch with a beautiful girl every day." Hilary looked down shyly under his stare but the bell rang, breaking my best friend moment with this Alec who saluted to us before they made their way to their own class. I waved goodbyes to my friends and gave Hilary a playful smile before I headed to my first period. Sitting on my own desk at the back of the room, I noticed that Quinn was nowhere. Thinking of her made my dirty thoughts thrived in my brain again. And it intensified as I watched her enter the door like she was the most colorful breathing inside the classroom. She frowned when she saw me looking at her so hundreds of questions quickly processed through my mind like a harsh storm. The famous sweetheart sat beside me without uttering any word. I opened my mouth to ask what was wrong but the teacher shattered my opportunity when she began to teach her lesson. ***** Lights off, plus corrupt images in my head. An angel beside me equals a perfect scenario for my smutty thoughts. Chairs and students were scattered all over the classroom while the movie titled 'Bright Star' was playing in front of us. All the students were watching the romantic literary scene, flickering from the huge screen while my English teacher was not aware that I was listening to music with my earphones on. It was my way to shrug off the silent treatment Quinn was giving me since the first period. What have I done to deserve this kind of abuse from her? Did she forget that she invited me over this Sunday? Had she already find out that I was really an unfaithful b***h who cheated on my doll every year? I almost leaped up at my own place when I felt a hand touching my thigh. As my eyes grew wide in surprise, my head snapped at Quinn beside me. I swallowed, seeing her beauty as sunbeams against the ominous surrounding. The iridescent lights from the movie illuminated her hazel green eyes which were now holding a different blend of concern while she gazed back at me. I took off my earphone from my ears and smiled at her foolishly. "Are you alright?" she asked softly and her voice made my heart flutter ten times stronger in each of its beats. Really, Arisa? Is that really you or you were just possessed by all the members of Teletubbies inside you? "Risa?" she whispered. "I'm asking if you're alright?" I abruptly recouped and smiled at her. "Of course, I'm fine?" Oops, that wasn't convincing, was it? She frowned at my unsure tone. "Don't do that again." "Do what?" "You almost got punched by some as$hole so promise me to stay away from him no matter what." I looked at her dumbfounded and I think I heard the Teletubbies theme song was playing through my ears. So she was acting like this because she was worried about what happened with Timothy. Mentally clapping my hands, I managed to answer, "It's not like I can avoid him. We are in the same school." I felt her hand crawled up over my thigh and a strange sensation built up within me. Goosebumps were giving me a hard time as her touch was the only thing I could focus on during this striking time. I gulped, grasping her hand in mine so that I could stop the thirst nagging through my throat. But her skin against my hand caused my hunger to grow stronger so I gulped again, staring at her wonderful frame against the dark. "Just don't provoke him next time," she said, squeezing my hand gently. I nodded, taking in what she just said while thinking how this girl was able to make me feel this way with her simple gesture. She smiled adorably then, her dimples shone like two stars in the starry night. Without warning, she leaned closer to me and caressed my lips with hers. On the double, the thirst and hunger demanded in impulse with her innocent flavor so I delicately kissed her back. Menacingly and silently- letting all of her smoothness explore what was beyond my sweetness. Wishing no one would turn to our direction to witness the butterflies I freed to state my soaring infatuation to this stranger I hardly knew of. Giving in, I pulled away and gasped for air before I could learn the sensation of being breathless but she stole my breath again as both of her hands seized my face and pulled me closer to e*****e my lips once again. To e*****e my whole body into fire and blaze. With her soft lips allowing me to grant back what I was receiving, her tongue ran over softly against mine as it found its opportunity to embrace the opening and never even bothered to ask for entrance. This unfathomable escape made me crave more but we instantly pulled away from each other when I heard someone moaning. I blushed, realizing it was me who expressed such an embarrassing sound. I looked around and relief washed all over me when no one caught us making out on the rear. I heard Quinn hushed laughter so I gave her a glare. She pouted charmingly and gave me her final quick kiss before she turned her head to watch the film. Not keeping my gaze off her, I contemplated what just happened. It was really unusual for her to take the initiative. Given that she barely kissed me back all through this week, it was really surprising for her to act like this all of a sudden. It was like she skipped three steps down on her own heavenly stairway that was leading to my fluffy bed. Maybe something had happened to her. Did she hit her head? Or she finally learned the truth so she was starting to get possessive? No, that wasn't right. Maybe it was because of what happened with Timothy this morning. I looked down and wrote Quinn's name in my notes with a big question mark next to it. Maybe Quinn was not something we expected her to be. Maybe there was something shocking within her. Like she was a thousand broken puzzle pieces that you must get together before you could see its true appearance. After a lot of hesitation, I decided to take the risk. I was going to make sure I would bring these pieces together. Even if I must search all over in case I was missing something. ........... "Natasha, can I talk to you? Privately?" I asked with confidence, watching my ex-girlfriend flirting with some nerd. I guessed that this girl was the one my friends were talking about. Amber Nerd. Natasha looked up with a frown and the nerd beside her made a nervous expression. She was pretty and looked really smart because she knew how to get intimidated by me- such a good girl. "Oh, okay?" she agreed and then stood up, leaving her girl behind after a peck. Among my dolls, Natasha was the easiest to talk to. Not that she was an easy girl. It was just there was no hard when it came to me. The point? Nobody wanted to play hard to get when Arisa Valentine betrothed her skills. I led her outside the cafeteria, through the back garden, and looked around in case there was someone sneaking behind our backs. Once I made sure that the coast was clear, I turned to her with an unwavering smile. "Okay, Nat. I know this is ridiculous but I want you to denied that we had a relationship before," I demanded straight away. She stared at me appalled and then she laughed out loud. "That's really ridiculous. Everybody knows that we had a relationship so why do I have to hide it? And from whom?" "From Quinn." Natasha smiled weakly. "Quinn Blackburn. The new sweetheart, huh? Make sense..." "Yes," I said, "She heard the rumors about my unfaithfulness and I'm trying to make her believe that it's not true". She laughed in amusement. "So Quinn is your doll this year? And Arisa, your unfaithfulness is not just a rumor." "But I want her to believe that they are only rumors but someone wants to prove that they are really true." "So you want me to shut my mouth to make her believe that you've never cheated on me?" she asked, gesturing her hand like she was pulling a zipper-lock over her lips. I nodded. "Yes." She creased her brow in worry. "What if this someone asks me the question in front of Quinn? What am I supposed to say?" "Just tell her that we only dated for a month." She nodded. "Okay, sure." "That's it?" I asked. "Don't you want anything in exchange?" "Yes, I want something from you." "What? Make sure it's not me because I think you won't be able to handle my enhanced skill." Natasha smiled sarcastically. "Actually, no. I want you to stay away from me. That's all." I chuckled and brought my hand up to stroke her brown hair. "Why? You won't be able to resist my hotness if I did?" She laughed again and slapped my hand away from her. "You're practically a walking parasite so hands-off, will you?" I raised my eyebrow at her fierceness but then corrected, "A sexy walking parasite." She rolled her eyes and then raised his hand up. "I, Natasha Greene, only dated this immoral b***h parasite in front of me for only a month due to the reason that she's a horrible evolution of a bisexual woman," she vowed and then offered her hand down. "Happy now, Arisa?" "Yup." I nodded, grasping her hand tightly, and shook it as a deal. "Consider this as our final agreement because seriously, I don't want to involve myself in your lame games of hurting this new girl of yours. Sure, I don't want her to experience what you've done to me. But make sure there is someone around her that she can lean on before you say the breakup words." I only shrugged as a response. "Good luck, parasite." She waved and made her way back to her Amber Nerd. With a victorious grin, I mentally crossed out Natasha off my list. Olivia Pearce, where is your odious ass right now? ..........
