Current Mood: DistressedOct 6, 2012: Warning; Rant Ahead. I tore out of here at 9:30, thinking I was a half hour late for the Maui Pride Fair, where I’d be sharing a table selling books with a friend. I got there just before 10 and set up the table and chairs, and etc. She came in around 10:20. Fair opened at 10:30—people dribbled in and out all day; for a Pride festival I think it was very poorly attended.
Oct 16: Different topic. I was talking to a former Catholic woman with a Jewish husband about my conversation with a Baptist about having a gay son. Although the Baptist was polite, she also ate shrimp and didn’t know she shouldn’t do that. If you’re going to preach, you should at least know what you’re talking about.
