Chapter - 26

Alice

I've been having this dream since me and the girls found out about Karma and Blake. I don't know why I keep dreaming about it, but I do. The dreams keep repeating. I don't understand why I keep dreaming about it, but here is how it always went...

~~Dream~~

I, Alexandra, Lilly, and Luce come to the King's territory to visit Queen Karma, King Blaze, and the newborn princess.

When we found out about Karma's and Blaze's daughter, we drove straight to their place. I was excited. It's been a while since we've seen her.

Right now we are 30 minutes away from the packhouse. Speeding just to get there as fast as possible.

"I can't believe Karma and Blaze had a child! I thought Karma wasn't ready yet! But here we are driving to see the child! Can you girls believe that!?" Alexandra said excitedly.

"I know, right? I can't believe this is happening! We haven't even seen her in months! God!" Luce said.

When we made it to the house *cough cough* Mansion *cough cough*.

We were greeted by the Omegas. They lowered their heads in respect.

"No need to bow, we aren't Alpha's," Lilly said with a smile. Her eyes held excitement.

"We know, but we still respect our Queen's friends and family, Ma'am," One of the Omegas said.

"Please, call us by our first name."

"As you wish. Now please follow me. Our King and Queen have been waiting for you girls." She gave us a warm, welcoming smile.

We smiled back and followed her. She led us to the living room where Blaze, Karma, and their child were.

Then the Omega left the room, closing the doors behind us, and we went to sit down after greeting them.

"It's nice to see you, girls, after a long time," Karma said with a broad smile.

"Indeed it is. I hope everything is alright in the Shadow pack." Blaze said.

"Everything is alright, we haven't been attacked for a long time," Luce said with a smile.

Everyone found their mates, but I didn't. It's sad, but it's fine. I have a lot of free time and I don't have to worry about guys talking to me or being too close to me. In other words, I'm a free woman.

We started talking about how we all have been, about family, then the mate subject came.

"Alice, have you found your mate?" Karma asked me.

I shook my head. "No."

"Oh, I'm sorry-"

"It's fine, I'm okay with it. I feel free, with no possessiveness, or anything like that. Just freedom", I smiled at everyone. They smiled back.

"You should all stay. It's going to be dark soon, we don't want anyone to be injured," Karma said with a smile. Blaze nodded in agreement.

"Sure!" We said at the same time. We looked at each other with laughter.

I looked at the child in Karma's hands. I smiled and asked her.

"What's her name?"

"Her name is ~*-*-*~"

"Cute name, for a cute girl"

"If you want, you can babysit her". She smiled at me.

"R-really?" I asked. I loved taking care of children. Even if they are not mine, I still love them. Karma knew that I loved taking care of children. A few years ago, Karma promised me if she had children she would ask me to babysit them. I guess she remembered.

"Of course, remember? I told you you would babysit if I had any". She giggled. I smiled at her.

We continued talking when the doors burst open. We all looked at the door and saw Max.

"Alpha! Luna!" He lowered his head and then looked at them.

"Humans are on the territory, with silver, wolfsbane, and something else. Also, some helicopters are above. Vince tried contacting some of the other packs but got no answer.

We sent some over there and said that there were dead bodies everywhere, and they said something had exploded, but before they could check it out they were cut off. All he said was humans."

Our eyes widened at that. Suddenly, Alexandra fell off the couch, then Lilly, then Luce.

"He's dead..." Lilly whispered. Holding her hand on her chest.

Vince burst through the doors and said, "Humans are attacking, some of the werewolves shifted and killed some of them. Now they are here..." he said.

I turned to Karma and Blaze and saw them nodding. Karma stood up and walked towards me. She gave me the child and walked to some bookshelves. She picked up an envelope and she gave it to me.

"Take care of her..." That's all she said before I could ask her. Vince grabbed me and put his hand around my waist.

We walked until there was nothing but a field. We were close to the human city when I heard Karma trying to mind-link me.

"Take care of her. She's special." Before I could ask her, it was cut off.

"Vince, what's going on? I still don't understand!" I asked, tears forming in my eyes.

"Love, we need to keep on moving. Alpha ordered me to keep the child safe."

"Love?" He looked at me with a smile. Then it hit me. The scent.

Before I could do anything else, he kissed me and told me that we should keep walking.

I gasp when I wake up. Why do I keep dreaming of Blaze and Karma? Karma is with Blake. What's going on?

I should seriously ask some witches about this. This isn't normal. It feels so real. I got out of bed and got ready for school. I waited outside for Alexandra to pick me up. As I waited, I thought about the dream.

After a few minutes, Alexandras' car pulled up and I got inside. We drove to school, but when we got inside I had a weird feeling. I didn't catch Karma's scent.

I always catch her scent, but it's like she didn't come.

We went to class, but she wasn't there. We looked at each other and then sat in our seats.

"Why do I have this feeling that Karma is in the King's territory?" I said through the mind link.

"Did you tell her to go there?" Lilly asked.

"I may or may not have told her to go to the King's territory to look more into her tattoo..." I said.

"I guess we know where we are going. I just hope they will let us in", Luce said.

After class, we drove there quietly. When we arrived at the border, Alexandra stopped the car and a guy came up. She rolled down her window and looked at him.

"What pack are you from and why are you here?" He asked, grinding his teeth. Alexandra cleared her voice and started to talk.

"We are here from the Shadow pack. We are looking for a friend, Karma Slefin. We think that she's here at the Prince's library."

He thought for a second and nodded. He let us continue our drive and we did. When we made it to their packhouse and stepped out of the car, we saw the front door was broken down.

Something happened here. We walked inside. Her scent hit me. She's here.

We were sitting at the dining table eating. I was still shocked that Blake was Blaze. I couldn't focus on anything. After nodding my head to keep his secret. I was back in my thoughts. That dream has to mean something. Like a sign.

Some werewolves do live among humans. But if they do transform into their wolf form and kill someone, of course, we had to be careful then. But I still need to visit some witches about this. I was back to reality when Blaze said.

"Kitten, can you stay in your pack for a while?"

Why did he ask her to go back to the pack?

"Why?" Karma asked, confused. I saw a smirk on his face. All he said was.

"It's a surprise"

With that, he stood up and left. I was still confused about everything. I saw that the girls were confused too, but didn't say anything. When we finished eating, we stood up and went to the car. Karma following us behind.

The drive back to the pack was silent. No one said a word.

All I could think was, why did I have that dream?
