Chapter - 13

Blaze

I walked into my library with two of Karma's brothers. I closed the door behind us and looked toward them.

"We don't mind you taking our sister," Jeff said.

"Hm?"

"We wanted to tell you this in private, we don't want her to get angry at us." Matt, his other brother said, looking at the floor.

Something is up. What did they do to her?

"What is it?" They kept silent. Both of the brothers were looking down.

"Eyes up and answer my question, What is it?" I said, a little irritated that they asked me to talk to them privately, but they weren't talking.

"Well, it's about Karma. We have a few things to tell you about our family relationship with her."

"I'm listening"

"We weren't nice to Karma, no one was. We even told the whole pack to be mean to her, bully her, make fun of her." When Jeff said that, I felt my blood boiling with anger.

"But there's a reason. It was fifteen years ago. She was two years old then. It was the first time she had killed someone. It was shocking to everyone who found out, but then we found out the first strange thing. Her first tattoo appeared. Her eyes, from beautiful baby blue eyes, turned to red, which I guess you already know." Matt said.

"Yes, I saw her eyes. One is bright red, the other is dark red," I said.

"Yea, her eyes changed color when she killed the first person she hated, the omega. Our parents had to do a lot of work since they are the Alpha and Luna of our pack. Karma was left alone at home with us, but we had to meet up with our friends, so we asked an Omega to take care of her. When we left the house and went to our friend's house, Jason forgot his phone, so he drove back to the house. When he entered the house, he heard screaming from the living room. Jason went into the living room and saw Karma staring at her while the Omega was screaming and crying, but he did hear bones breaking. That's why she is called the Bone breaker. When she's sharing a look, their bones break." Jeff said.

I nodded. Still, I didn't get why they asked her to bully her, mess her up, and so on.

Matt sighed and continued, "We saw that the angrier she got the more powerful she got-"

"So, you broke her because of power?!" I couldn't believe her brothers would do so much so she could be powerful, but they don't know too much power can kill anyone. Well except me. "You do realize that if she goes too far she won't control her anger and can kill anyone she doesn't like."

"Yes, we know it was stupid of us, but we do love her, we just want her to be strong enough to protect herself," Jeff said.

As I was about to ask about it, someone opened the door. It was one of the Omegas asking us to come back to the room. I nodded at her and we went back to the room.

We don't mind you taking our sister.

I got her then. She's mine now. No one will touch her, only I will touch her.

I entered the room and saw Karma sitting by my father and aunt talking. I smiled at that. I walked behind her and put my arm on her shoulder and she jumped a bit. She looked around and I saw her blush a little bit, but she wasn't smiling, she looked sad.

I sat down next to her and drank my coffee. Until Ashely walked in, I saw her shooting daggers at Karma. Something wasn't right.

After a while, everyone was excused. I grabbed her arm and led her to my room, well soon to be our room. As we entered the room, I locked the door behind us. I pushed her gently to the wall and started kissing her, but she stopped me.

"Something wrong? Too fast?"

"I don't want to be your mate."

"Excuse me?"

"I don't want to be your mate, sir."

Those words hurt me, but mostly my wolf. That made me pissed, which made us both pissed. She belongs to us. She was picked for us.

I felt my eyes turn black. She wasn't going to reject me. She's mine, and mine only.

"The Moon goddess picked you for me. You are already marked by me. Your brother agreed that you would be with me. You said you trusted me. Was this all a lie? Did you just want to prove to Ashley that I would pick you instead of her?"

I was seeing red at the thought of her using me like that. I closed my eyes, trying to calm myself down. I felt my tattoo appear. I try to calm myself down. I opened my eyes and saw her shaking her head.

"It's not because I wanted to prove it to her. It's because she's right. I'm too weak to be a Luna. I have no mercy, I have nothing. Even my brothers don't want me. She was right. I don't deserve to be here. I don't-" I cut her off by pulling her into my chest.

" You are not weak. You have mercy, you have friends that support you and help you. Your brothers are acting like that so you won't be weak. You are strong because you survived all the pain. A Luna has to be strong from the inside, not only from the outside. You should know that. Even if Ashley says that she knows you are strong, she is trying to weaken you."

"B-But, I-I killed-"

"Shush. You need to rest. Don't listen to her anymore. Do you understand?"

"Yes sir-"

"What did I say about calling me, sir?"

"I mean, Blaze"

"Good, now go get some rest."

She nodded and went into the bathroom. I lay in bed trying to concentrate on everything I know, everything that happened.

Why did she believe Ashley in what she said?

My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. I unlocked the door and opened it.

"Here is the dress, sir. Your mother asked me to bring this to you." The Omega said.

"Ah, yes. Thank you." I said with a smile.

I closed the door and took my suit out. Hiding it before putting the dress in the closet. I went to lie on the bed and wait for her.

After a while, I heard the bathroom door opening. I heard her walking closer and closer to me. I felt her stare at my neck.

She must have seen a part of the tattoo.

"Do you need clothes or will you keep staring at me?" I was too tired to open my eyes so I said it with my eyes closed and with a smirk.

"Uh.. um... "

"There's a dress in the closet. Just for you."

"Oh... Okay..."

When she walked into the closet, I changed quickly into a suit. I put a letter on the bed and walked out of the room.

I walked to the White Flower field with a fellow witch. She used a spell that wouldn't hurt Karma. After she was done, I nodded at her and she left. I was standing in the middle of the field, waiting for her. After a while, I looked up at the cliff as I saw her come down the hill and come closer to me.

While she was walking, I spotted that she was looking at her left arm. My name was on her arm. I knew she had a dream like this. It was the only reason why my name was on hers.

She bumped into me and I offered her my hand. She accepted it and I pulled her up to my chest and kissed her. After a while, we parted, to catch our breath.

"You had this dream, haven't you?" I asked.

"I have, for five years, every night."

"It always ends with a kiss, right?"

"Y-yea"

"Well then, kitten. When you go to sleep tonight, you will have another dream, you will have to write it down on a piece of paper and then go to sleep again. Understood?"

"Why?"

"Just, trust me."

"..., Okay"

"Good, sleep tight"

As I said that, I used my powers to make her fall asleep. Then I picked her up bridal style and took her back to the house. When I entered our room, I put her on the bed, taking her heels off. After a while, I changed clothes and went to bed.

I was awakened at 3 am by Karma's sleep-talking.

"I'm sorry I did that to you, but you deserved that Bane."

I felt my blood boil with another male's name coming from her mouth.

I kissed her on her lips and she snuggled up to me. I held her close.

"You are nothing compared to Blaze."

I smiled at that and fell asleep.
