Chapter - 16

Karma

I lay back on the couch and started eating while watching the movie.

I watched 'Never Hike Alone (2017)', then 'Us (2019)' and now I'm watching 'The Banana Splits Movie (2019)'.

In the middle of the last movie, I fell asleep.

I woke up at 18:29. I looked around and I didn't see him.

I got up and walked out of the room. Walking down the stairs, I heard talking in the kitchen. I took a peak and listened.

"Tiana said that there aren't any more of the Mythic blue flower, Alex." A woman said.

Huh? Mythic blue flower? I thought they weren't real. Everyone said that the last one was used to cure Queen Luna.

"Try looking at the Firon lock, Blaze needs that flower and you know what will happen if he doesn't get it. Lia." A guy said.

What the hell? Why does Blaze need that flower? And who are those people?

As I was trying to listen more, I accidentally dropped a painting while leaning on the wall.

They stopped talking and walked out of the kitchen to see what made that noise. I stood up straight as they came out of the kitchen.

"Ah! Luna! How are you feeling? I'm Lia" She said, giving a smile.

"U-um, I am okay, I guess... Do you know where Blaze is?" I asked.

"Alpha is taking care of... business... right now. Do you want us to call him?" The guy asked. Giving a concerned look.

"N-No it's fine. If he's busy, I don't want to disturb him. It's probably an important situation."

"If you say so, Luna. I'm Alex, by the way." he smiled at me and walked off with Lia.

I sighed. Great. New people. I wonder what he's doing that's so important.

I walked inside the kitchen only to be greeted by the Chef and a few other wolves.

As I sat down, I got this feeling that I was missing out on something. The Omegas came and placed a plate of food with a smoothie for me on the table. As I ate, I still felt like something was missing. Something like a secret...something that I am part of.

I shook the feeling off and finished my dinner. As I got up, I started walking towards my and Blaze's room, only to spot Blaze on the stairs talking with Alex. I started walking towards them, but I froze as his eyes spotted me.

He shooed Alex off and got closer to me. When he was in front of me, he wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed me hungrily. After a minute, we pulled apart and breathed.

"Missed me, kitten?" He asked with a smirk. I blushed but nodded.

"Well then, I'm here now. Let us go watch a movie, okay kitten?" I nodded with a smile.

We walked upstairs and he changed out of his suit into a black T-shirt and black shorts. While he was changing, I was sitting on the couch and looking for a good movie.

When he was done, he walked out of the closet and sat next to me, pulling me onto his lap. He took the remote out of my hand and turned on a random movie.

After a while, I realized my head was on his chest, his arms around my waist, and I fell asleep feeling safe and... happy...

Blaze

I was watching the movie with her when I realized she had fallen asleep. I smiled and picked her up bridal style. I carried her to our bed and set her down. I lay down next to her, pulling her closer to me.

"There's a lot to do to make her happy, make her free" Angelo said.

"I know, but we need to do it calmly. She can't know, not yet at least." I sighed.

She's mine, but I need to be careful. She can't know what I'm doing, she can't know what I'm planning to do. I will show her when I'm done. I just need her to trust me with everything. I rested my head on the pillow, holding her close by her waist.

I love her. I'm crazy in love with her. I didn't expect to be in love with her this much. But I am and I love this feeling.

And with those thoughts, I fell asleep with a smile, knowing that she was in my arms safe and sound.
