Chapter - 6

Hey Guys! I didn't think I was going to publish today, but since I didn't have much to do, I thought about using the time to write this chapter! Thank you, Samantha Daniels, for the comment Blaze What the hell... Mate? What the f**k is she talking about? She isn't even my mate. Ugh... this is getting annoying. "Babe, where were you?" She asked. I ignored her and started walking towards the living room, Max and Vince behind me. "Babe, don't ignore me!" "I'm not yours, and I'm not your mate!" I was getting even more annoyed by her. I knew who she was, and I didn't like her already. "Well, you would be mine if you would just sign this contract. Both our parents agreed to this and all we need is for you to signature this and we will be together forever!" She giggled happily. I hate everything about her. Her voice, her laugh, her personality. Just EVERYTHING! If she was my mate, I would have rejected her the second I saw her, without thinking twice. She's spoiled, she thinks she's the best and she can control anyone she wants. I'm not into those kinds of girls. The only girl I would want is my REAL mate. Oh, right, she's still here. Ugh... "As I said before, I'm not signing anything. And what do you mean? Both our parents agreed to this?" I asked, confused. "Your father said something like... 'he still hasn't found his real mate' something, something 'we can even make peace by getting my son and your daughter getting married, but since he's almost 20 he will need to sign it' something like that" "I AM NOT MARRYING YOU ASHLEY" I sighed, trying to relax and not kill her. "Ugh... I am not going to marry someone who isn't meant to be for, m-" I was shocked as I felt lips on mine. I pushed her away, just as I was about to charge at her and snap her neck. I was pulled back by Vince. I was thankful that he did that, even though I hated her. "Relax babe, I'll be here tomorrow and we can discuss our wedding day hehe! Love you, bye!" she started walking out. When I heard the door close, I was pissed, not only that my mate had found out a secret, but that my father wanted me to marry that b***h! After a while, I calmed down and Vince let me go. And then I remembered what the girl said, 'Maybe next time don't talk in school where anyone can hear you'. I got pissed again and turned to them. They lowered their heads. "Look at me, both of you" They knew by my deep voice that I was pissed at them. "Y-y-yea B-Blaze?" Max asked. I saw fear in his eyes. "Let's rewind to the time when we were at school and you both wanted to talk in class when that girl, Karma, was her name, right? overheard us. Vince, YOU said it's FINE to talk in the classroom, am I correct?" I asked, looking at Vince. "Y-yea, that's her name, umm... well... We never had that problem when someone overhears us. B-But it's still fine... she just knows you're real name, nothing else..." He was looking at the floor as he said those last words. "Oh? I wonder what would have happened if she kept on listening and, well, I don't know, found out more? Like we used a fake pack name. Who was I? Hm?" I raised an eyebrow at both of them. " He-eh, Well, good thing she didn't... right?" he laughed nervously. I sighed and just waved them off. They didn't wait for even a second to go to the backyard to train and train others. When they left, I went to the kitchen. "Hey Syd, can I get some water?" I asked one of the omegas. "Of course!" She said with a smile. I sat down on a stool by the island. I started thinking about today. What happened today and what to do tomorrow? Well, it's not their fault... I guess... But Vince is right. She only knows my real name, but even though she doesn't realize my name if word gets out... I have a feeling people will realize who I am. I don't want attention. So many gold-diggers, sluts, and other kinds of girls will be attached to me even more, and that's what I don't want. I don't play with a girl's feelings. But my wolf does. It's weird but okay..? But back to the girl. She knew I was her mate. Or did she not? But why does she not want me to find out more about her? Ugh... this is getting stressful. A glass of water put on the island brought me back to reality. I sighed. I saw that Sydney looked at me confused. She knows that I sigh after a long day if I haven't found my mate, but she realizes that I sighed... differently... I guess... "What's wrong? Is something wrong?" She asked. "Huh? What do you mean?" I asked, confused. "You sighed differently. Like something really bad happened, or something didn't go as planned?" She asked curiously. "I'm fine Syd. Oh and, how long was Ashley here?" "Hmm" She took out her phone and looked at the time. "Well, it's 17:58 right now. She was here at 15:00, and she started yelling at us, asking where you were, sir. She started throwing all the plates on the ground when we said that you were out. It was stressful Sir. But I understand if you marry her, we would need a luna anyway," She said as she put a fake smile on. "I'm not going to marry her. I would rather let this pack be without a Luna than be with her. You don't have to worry. I've just had a long day. Thanks for the water, by the way." I smiled at her. I saw her eyes light up, and she smiled widely. "Thank god, no disrespect, but I didn't like how she walked in and already bossed us around like she owned the place. And-" she stopped talking and laughed shyly " Oh, I'm sorry. I was talking too much." I drank the water and handed her the glass. "It's fine Syd. I like it when people aren't scared to tell me what they think of the person." I smiled at her. I stood up and just as I left the kitchen I felt someone trying to mind-link me. It was Father. I opened the link. 'Son, please come to my office, I need to tell you something' 'No need father, I already know, and I'm not doing it. I'm not going to marry Ashley. I know I need a luna since I will get the title on my 20th birthday. I won't marry her, of all people, you should know that I hate her.' 'So you already found out. Son, you won't get it if you don't-' I cut him off ' I found her...' Just as I said that I cut off the link. I went to the backyard and trained. I trained for about a good 4 hours. I went to my room and straight to the bathroom, I took a shower and changed into some basketball shorts, and hopped into bed. I want to know more about Karma. I wanted to hold her against my chest, inhale her scent, and mark her. I wanted to make sure everyone knew she was mine, but there was one thing stopping me. 'Well, I would like you all, too, to stay away from me and not to research me, since I know that Blaze will do it. If one of you breaks this, I will tell everyone his real name. And trust me, I can do it any second, so I advise you to stay away.' I didn't understand, didn't she want me? Those words kept on repeating in my head. Over and over and over again... But I don't want anyone to find out my real name. I don't want attention. I want her to come close to me. I even wanted to kiss her. And more than just kiss her. I wanted to- My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a knock on my door. I got out of bed and opened the door. Max was standing still. "What the f**k Max? It's almost 11 pm! What's wrong now?" I wasn't mad at him because he knocked on my door very late. I was mad because he interrupted my thoughts. "Sorry, but I found out something important," he had a serious expression. "Fine, come in". He nodded and walked in. I closed the door behind him and looked at him with a raised eyebrow, hands crossed on my chest. "Well..?" "It's about Karma. Vince and I know she's your mate but... Ashley thinks that she's just a girl that you like. So... Me and Vince were walking close to the border and saw Karma and Ashley. We hid our scents and tried to listen in on what they were talking about but we didn't hear anything since they were too far away. Then Vince says that Ashley had a silver knife and then, before we even realized it, Ashley stabbed her. We didn't see where, but after she stabbed her, she said something, but as I said, we didn't hear what, and she walked off. Karma was bleeding but pulled the silver knife out. She just turned to the other direction and acted like nothing even happened.." As Max finished telling me, he looked into my eyes. They had pitch-black eyes. Max didn't feel safe around me. Before he realized anything, he was pushed to the wall by his neck and I lifted him higher until max couldn't touch the ground. "AND YOU GUYS JUST WATCHED? I DON'T CARE IF WE CAN'T BE NEAR HER, SHE'S MY MATE!" Then Max realized it wasn't me talking. It was my wolf, Angelo. "A-Angelo...W-We couldn't... W-w-we didn't h-have permiss-ion f-from y-you... or your father...." "Let me make myself clear. If it's something to do with MY MATE, YOU have permission to leave the border and to help her. No touching her without informing me. Make sure she doesn't catch your scent either. Am. I. Clear." Angelo said. When he didn't answer, I repeated. "I SAID AM I CLEAR?" Max nodded quickly and left the room, closing the door behind him. Angelo gave back control and I sat on the bed. I put my hands in my midnight black hair. I couldn't believe I grabbed Max, my soon-to-be Delta, by the neck. Angelo never took over my body like that. It was the first time that it happened like this. And I hope that it won't happen again. Even though I agreed with my wolf that they didn't even make sure she was okay. I still didn't want to explain that to him. I knew him and Vince for a long time. And Max did make a good point, he and Vince can't leave the territory without my or my father's permission. I sighed and lay in bed. With one thing on my mind. 'Will she accept me as her mate? Or will she reject me?' And just like that, I fell asleep.
