In the car, Karin was the driver. Louis, Hugo, Philip and Katherine sat jostling each other as passengers behind. Their hearts almost dislodged from its place. They have to travel quite a distance of about an hour if they didn't catch traffic. Karin is getting impatient, she presses the gas tightly. Louis in the front seat gripped his chair. They reached Madison around seven o'clock. They left the office late because they had to deal with some matters with the police. Louis looked unhappy because they wasted a lot of time. But again this is a procedure, they have to do it. They had arrived at David Eiden's house. They stand guard outside. "I'm in." Karin prepared her gun. Louis saw Karin's back as she got out of the car. Frankly, she was anxious. Louis approached Philip while he preparing his weapon. Louis held Philip on the shoulder to whisper something in his ears. "Phil, stay close to Karin, I'm counting on you." Philip nodded. Everyone is in position. Karin gave a signal as she approached the entrance to David's house. Karin opened the door forcibly, followed by Philip in the back. It shocked Karin and Philip when they found traces of blood on the floor. Karin's heart beat faster. Philip glanced at his side, parting with Karin in the hallway. The blood trail is still new when Karin squatting touch the blood of the floor. Karin hand get stronger in her weapon. She was very nervous. Karin stared at the door in front of her. Her hand turns the knob and looks inside to make sure it's safe. She found a stair connecting downstairs. her legs lead her down. Karin held up her gun. Unfortunately, she didn't find anyone but two chairs facing each other. One chair was covered with blood. She turn her head watching all over place and found one door in the corner. The color of the door is brown in contrast to all white colors. Karin walked closer. She turned the handle of the door. the stench of a foul smelling came from inside made Karin have to retreat a few steps. She covered her nose with her sleeve as she entered the small room. She saw something. Karin walked closer. Her breathing was irregular. No, no, no, this couldn't be happening. The body of a woman who had died with a terrible state. And no less terrible again. A tube was on top of the corpse. Karin goosebumps instantly. Is that a head? "Oh god." She muttered. She knew head who's this. instantly Karin closes her mouth tries to stay strong although the fact he fears. Same question appears in her head. When This man will stop killing. A grin didn't disappear from David's face. He escaped from his own home about two hours before the ambush. Police are easy to guess. David calmly drove, taking his car to the dark night street. He looked in the rearview mirror. James is in the back seat sleeping, totally knock out. His body wrapped in a blanket so his blood not scattered all over the seat. David didn't want to risk himself to get caught. Now he will go hide for a while with James in his hands. Oh, this will be more interesting. ** "Fuck." Earnest whispered on the connecting phone. He and Louis met again during the afternoon visit. Earnest hitting the table surface is a little harder than it should be. After yesterday's ambush, they really need a break. Let alone Karin, she's the hardest hit. She barely spoke all the way, and her gaze was blank like a doll. "Well, it is undeniable something like this often happens. " "Then what about the killer?" "He ran away. I'll send two other partners to stay in Madison. Monitoring." Louis’ answer. His face is very neutral. "I suggest you have to let the girl go to Madison. She's very helpful you know." "You're not helping." "No, no no. I mean, she is smart, Lou. She has the same way of thinking as James. She is clever one." Louis looks rocking. His face signaled a million expressions. Earnest looked at it and a little surprised because he was the first time to see it. "I'll take your advice." Earnest grinned. "My guess has never missed my dear friend." "Then I will contact you again after this is over. Take care Nest." Louis smiled and put the receiver in place. When he walked out of the prison area, Karin was waiting in the car, leaning against it. She saw his boss. The woman tried to smile. "So?" "Well, I have no choice to send you back to Madison. This is the most ridiculous choice I've ever made." He held his head up as if this is a commendable deed. "I'm sorry Karin, but I can only send Philip with you, I hope you don't mind." "It's okay, Sir. Don't worry, I will do nothing to break the rules." "I'm sure you can handle it, Karin. I trusted your ability. But I would rather advise you to hold back. We face people we don't know what he looks like. Understand? "Yes, sir." She saluted. "Then climb in, we need to take care of your departure permit. Let's go." Karin and Louis got in the car back to the office. Get ready for everything. ** James's eyelids open slowly. His body felt stiff as he moved his neck to look sideways. His sense of smell works well for the smell of very thick oak. James gawked. He's in a vintage room with a brown color. Sat in the middle of the room with his hands tied back. Damn, he moved the location. Come on, this is the second time. That guy really sucks. James tried to shove his hand away from the bond that kept him stuck on the spot. His chair swayed as James, jammed with all his strength, tried to free himself. Silly thing happen when James shook his chair too strong. He lost balance, then the chairs falling pressed his body to the floor, making a loud thud. With the cheek that landed first, James moaned in pain. "Crap." There was a black shadow caught by the corner of James's eyes. He looked up, found David staring at him. "So funny. The wolf try to free himself from the trap. How cute." David chuckled made James more irritated. "Ha ha." James’s trapped now. His body flanked by his chair made him unable to move. Consequently, he just grunted while moving like a caterpillar. David was even more amused by the circumstances of his hostage. "You just want to watch or helping me and stop looking at me like that." "I can't help it. It’s so funny." James is more grumpy when David came over and grabbed the edge of his chair, not wanting to justify the chair position. The man lowered his mouth close to James's ear. James can felt David's breath sending chilling to his spine. "Let's play again, James. I know you can take this pain more." David knife pressed on his skin slowly. He knows how to torture someone and he made them broke. James whimpered, not wanting to slip out his voice. "So brave, James." David turned the chair over. And he looked at James, whose entire body was shaking. This guy is great. He could endure the pain David gave. David asked himself how long James would last until he destroyed by this torment. David poked his knife again. James took a breath in, trying to endure the pain. We will test it today.
