I grabbed Julia by her hand and pulled her toward me before muttering, "Listen closely, Julia."
"What's happening?" Julia started noticing that something was wrong with this group of people as well.
"No matter what happens after this, don't be afraid, and don't panic. Most importantly, don't run away on your own. When you hear me shouting for you to run, run in the direction where I tell you to, and don't look back. Leave me on my own and run to get the police."
Julia grabbed my arm and asked nervously, "What are they trying to do?"
"Did you hear what I just said?"
"Yeah, I did."
"That's good. Remember to only run after I signal for you to run."
I took a deep breath and looked up to face the tanned and shirtless buff man that was walking toward me.
