I paused before turning around.
Wendy sneered. "You're jealous and angry to see Lucy happy with Howard, who is rich and successful, after she dumped you. You want to get this project to prove yourself, get revenge on them, and ridicule them only, am I right?"
As I was unable to control my urge, I walked toward her and grabbed her by her chin.
Her face turned red from anger and she grabbed my wrist to try and make me release her chin.
"Stop moving." I added more strength onto my grip.
She yelped in pain. She was too afraid to struggle anymore, but she was still glaring at me with eyes that burned.
I leaned in toward her. "Miss Lawrence, stop being so arrogant and constantly thinking that you can see through other people. It's really not that deep. I just want to sleep with you."
