The Terrifying Truth.

*Myra's POV* I really didn't know how to feel about the bomb Blake just dropped on me. Did Nate know? The girls? Mom and Dad? There were so many questions I had but it just didn't seem like the time. I just went through everything in my head on the way to pick up the pizza. I know the reason Micha didn't want me to go alone. The simple fact that we were home and I had a huge chance of running in to the one person they didn't bring in to consideration when they planned the whole trip. I was so happy to be home again, but I was back to being in that constant state of looking over my shoulder while I was alone. But, I knew if I had someone come with me Blake and Nate would wonder why when I always used to do this on my own. 'Suck it up Myra. He cant hurt you now.' I say to myself when I walk in to the pizza place. *Nate's POV* Blake ran upstairs, Myra left. What the hell is going on with those two and why did Lilly leave? "Any idea what that was about?" I asked my sisters and Micha. "I really have no clue this time" Micha said "I've got nothing." Lexi said. "Not a clue." Hope said. I waited for Nat to answer. "Natalie?" i said "Nat?" Still nothing. She was just staring at one of their new friends. "Natalie May!" "Huh?" she broke her gaze and looked at me. "Did you hear a single word I said?" "Nate, how am I supposed to hear you with this sitting next to me?" She said pointing to Jordan. His face turned bright red. "Oh here we go." I said. "Nate, you heard Myra in the truck. Blake and Micha told her she wasn't allowed to date until she's 20, and look what happened. She dated Dakota for 3 years and now she's all hot and bothered by this wavy haired dream boat." She said pointing toward Drake. "So if I wanna put the moves on this holy hunk of wow next to me there's nothing you can do. Don't try to act intimidating when you still sleep with socks on because you don't want your feet being grabbed while you're asleep." "You know you're my least favorite?" I asked with a smile. "You'll get over it." she said laughing. "So, how have you guys been doing. We've missed all of you." Hope said looking at Micha. "Its been great so far. Myra hit a rough patch." Micha shook his head. "What happened?" I ask. "Well, some guys made a bet on who could sleep with her first. It didn't exactly go as planned." Micha pursed his lips. I looked at the wavy haired kid. I knew his name was Drake, but he still had yet to tell me himself. "Were you in on it kid?" I asked "Why would I have been in on it?" He gave me a look. "I don't know. You just don't seem very gentleman like." "Nathan stop it." Lexi said to me. "No offense dude, but you know nothing about me." Drake says. "And you know nothing about me. But one thing I do know is that in Minnesota , we shake hands and introduce ourselves to our girlfriends best friend. Not avoid eye contact when you're staying in his house." "And where I come from we don't judge people we don't know." he stood up. "Look little man, you're about half my size and I don't play when it comes to Myra. So yeah, I judge." "Because you were such a good judge of character with her last boyfriend." he rolled his eyes. *Myra's POV* I walked in the house after getting the pizza to see Drake and Nate standing in each others face. "Because you were such a good judge of character with her last boyfriend." I heard him say. I put the pizza in the end stand and walked in to the living room. "Uhm hi." I said to everyone. Just then Blake came down the stairs. "Why is there yelling going on." he said as he walked in and stood beside me. "Drake don't." I heard Micha say. "Don't what? What's going on?" I asked. "You better put your boyfriend in check before I do Myra." Nate said. "No one needs to put me in check. If you want to accuse someone of being a bad guy you shouldn't be talking to me. You should be talking to Dakota." "We already know Dakota's a shitty person. But your impression so far is making you out to be one too." "Alright stop." I say to both of them, but they were to busy yelling to hear me. Then my heart dropped. It dropped so hard I thought it fell out of my ass. "Fine. You can make me out to be a shitty person but at least I'd never put my hands on a woman." Nate stepped back. Blake turned and looked at me. Drake and Micha's eyes got wide. And in that moment I knew. I knew exactly what was about to happen. "What?" Nate said as he turned his body toward me. "My, what is he talking about?" Blake asked as he started to sweat. Micha stepped over to me and put his arm around me. "Guys now isn't the time to do this. Lets just go eat." "Mic, shut the hell up." Blake said. His face went from confused to agitated. "What is he talking about Myra?" I looked at Drake and his expression said 'I'm sorry' as his face dropped to the floor. "I--" "Myra don't." Micha said. "No Myra, do." Nate said as Blake went to stand beside him. "No, I'll tell you." Micha said, knowing that I was clearly too terrified to talk. "Go ahead then." Both Blake and Nate say. "The day Myra was put in the hospital. We told you she was in a four wheeler wreck." He said." "OK?" Blake said. "It wasn't true." Micha scratched the back of his neck. Blake got a serious look. "Then what's the truth." he asked. "That night after the football game, Dakota asked her to come over and spend the night. But, she didn't have a ride, so Drew and Bobby dropped her off." "So what's the point?" Nate asked. "Dakota saw her get out of the car. He was mad. When she got up to his room, he threw her against the wall, started calling her names." "There's no way any of that came from putting her against a wall." Blake yelled. Blake doesn't yell, ever. "You're right, but it does come from being hit with a lot force. And thrown on the floor. And being kicked. Or having knives thrown at you when you walk away." Micha looked down. Nate pushed through Micha and I and slammed the door behind him. "Lexi go." Micha said to her. She followed after him. "Bla--" I try to say his name. "Why." he screamed at me. "Don't yell at her." Micha said stepping in front of me. "Shut the hell up Micha!" he screamed pushing him out of the way. "Why." he screamed. "Why would you lie to me? Or Nate? Better yet, why would you tell Drake before me? Why did Micha have to tell me and not you! I'm your older brother." "Because this is why Blake. You always try to take control of things when I can handle myself." "Clearly you cant if your boyfriend beat your ass and you did nothing." "I did do something. I ran out of the room! I called Micha, mom and dad!" "But you didn't call me!" "I can handle myself." "Not when it comes to being beat up by a dude. A dude who I introduced you to. A dude who was my friend." he screamed as he walked out of the house. I stomped up the stairs.
