Royce Miller's POV
Vera was still not talking to me even when we were inside the car. It's only this time that I realized she sulks easily which I find cute like I want to tease her even more. Suddenly her phone was ringing so she picked it up to answer the call. But when she mentioned Dave's name, I furrowed my brows and my jaw started to get tense.
"What's the occasion, Dave? Yeah...sure!", It's Vera's response.
I took a quick glimpse at her and I saw her smiling. I don't know what they are talking about and why the hell she was addressing Dave by his name. Are they that close enough? I started to get annoyed especially that Vera was enjoying talking with him. But their conversation just ended when we heard a loud flapping noise followed by an abrupt change of the car's speed.
