Irredeemable: His Temptation, Her Salvation

Prologue

DEIMOS BALTAZAR

"Can you please remind me, why the hell are we here?" I asked, obviously annoyed.

"Because we will gonna meet the head of the most powerful organization in the world?" Thanatos said.

"You mean, you hope to meet the head of the powerful organization in the world? We don't even have their information." I retorted sarcastically.

"Oh come on. Don't act like you didn't hope as well." He said.

"Oh yeah? Does any one of us, four, look excited?" The sarcasm in my voice is like a venom that run through it.

Because for a god-damned sake, we are in the middle of nowhere! And this dumbass son of a b***h just drag us here. And maybe we are way beyond dumb than him because we actually get our asses here. If only I knew!

I just keep silent after that conversation. I don't want to end up punching him in this SUV Heracles that driving. We were actually inside Kratos' vehicle.

To keep myself entertained, I just look outside the window in the front seat. It's already almost midnight. We decided to left the area about an hour ago since we've been here for twenty four hours already but nobody came. No one is here. I should have stayed in my mansion.

Argh!

I was actually thinking back on how did he actually convince us. Yes, we are actually curious to know who is the boss sitting on the top of the chain. Because in a matter of couple of years they rose so fast and gained the interest of many organizations. They are so powerful in that sense. They are quiet, they are silent. But that doesn't make them less deadly. They are indeed the most dangerous group underground. No one saw their faces. Nobody know who they are. They don't have a mark to know which mafia family they belong. We never even got to know the underboss nor the assistant of this said family.

But the only thing we know, is that they are called 'The Ace's'.

No trace of origin. Just simply The Ace's'.

And that makes them very mysterious and interesting. I don't want to be their enemies because it is not safe for my organization. I want to make them my allies instead. I want to know their way of thinking, their strategies, their strengths.

Because that's really what caught my interest. But as I think about it, they are not the reason why we were dragged here by Thanatos. He bribed us through introducing us to the goddess of the society. Because we saw him many times in an elite parties talking always to those four lovely ladies. Their presence is just so difficult not to notice. They are actually a threat to their fellow women because their beauty is beyond this world's standards.

That gorgeous looking woman that I always saw Thanatos talk to whenever they saw each other at the party. She actually caught my attention. Her jet black hair that comes below her shoulder, those expressive emerald eyes, luscious fair skin, and delectable body. She's just so perfect in every angle. She always look hot and sexy even without her knowing.

Well all oft them were drop dead gorgeous alpha ladies. But that woman caught my attention. The three of them look approachable, but the woman with heterochromia is simply not my cup of tea. She's way out of my league. She's intimidating, looks so dominant. She's almost a man but caged in a body of a Goddess.

The other two ladies, the very playful and the very big sister looking among them.

The playful one, she's hella gorgeous too. But she plays around, it is so dangerous to entangle yourselves with her. She's the type of leaving you hanging. But she's friendly, it's just that she's somehow odd to me because I always caught her watching or stealing glances towards Kratos.

The big sister looking type, is too much for me. If ever I make a move towards her? We will always be lost of words to said. I am quite a quiet. And I think she is as well. But she's always giving that warm smile whenever someone approaches them.

And maybe, if the world is on our side, through Thanatos we could get along pretty well. But it's just bad that they will be put in danger once the enemies will know about them. Simply because they are mingling with us. Sometimes our lives sucks.

But anyway.

"That someone who tips you off about the arrival of the presence of the Ace's' in this area must have scammed you. But if you scammed me about introducing me to those Goddesses of the society, I will definitely cut your d**k, Thanatos." I suddenly said to Thanatos while looking at him the rearview mirror.

He was taken aback for some time and raises his two hands as if surrending. And chuckled. "Chill man. I won't go back in my words. " He simply replied.

"You better not. " Heracles and I, said in unison.

"Didn't know you are interested as well. " I said and look at him. Raising a brow. What if we both like the same woman? We all know no one is gonna give way between us.

"That's the reason why I am driving right now. " He replied and laugh a little

"Which one? " Thanatos suddenly butted in and pop his head in the front, between the two seats.

"The one with Emerald eyes." And once again, Heracles and I said in unison.

"What the f**k?" I hissed. Because the last time I saw them, both supermodels have the same eye color. Emerald.

Then, Thanatos just laugh at us. "What's funny?!" I ask.

"Chill. Three of them has the same eye color. Hazel brown eyes. Only my baby girl is the odd one." He said.

I turned around and look at him in confusion. Baby girl? Odd one? Since when?

And as far as I know, they don't have the same eye color. What is this bastard saying?

"I'm talking about Alectrona. My baby girl." He suddenly said as if to answer my confusion. And he added. "Athena, Aphrodite, and Artemis has the same eye color."

"How come? The last time I saw them, only the models have the same eye color. Emerald. " I said.

"They are wearing contact lenses. Because you see, all of them are sinfully beautiful. Other people would have a difficult time distinguishing them because of their eyes. Sometimes, other women wear different contact lenses. Well, aside from Alectrona that is. " He said and shrugged before leaning back to his seat. "But i heard a rumor about one of them undergone an eye surgery before. I can't really tell who because when I look closely in their eyes it seems like they are not wearing any." He added.

Thanatos gossipmonger skills really leave me in awe. I'm always speechless.

Beside him is Kratos, the ever quiet one. He is so much to himself. I don't even know why he is here. But I know he's listening.

"So, who is who?" Heracles asked.

Yeah, you better not fantasize what I own first. I said in my mind.

"Athena, the doctor, she's the playful one. Aphrodite and Artemis, the supermodels." Thanatos replied.

My forehead creases "Dude, both of them are supermodels. How are we supposed to know who is who?" I sarcastically replied.

As if thinking, he rubbed his forehead for more to describe them better that distinguishes each other from the other.

"Between the supermodel, who is that woman with shoulder length hair that is a bit curly? " Heracles asked.

"Did you forgot? Both of them have the same hairstyles. " I snorted to his question.

I get it that they are friends, both in the modeling industry but them looking exactly like twins despite not being related to each other? That's insane. There were rumors I've heard from Thanatos that maybe they're actually siblings but just keeping it to themselves. Only them know. And every of their runways, in a circumstances where they walked in pairs, managers would really pair them. They look so powerful and dominant in the runways. That it is so hard to resist them.

Then, Thanatos just sighed as if he's tired of explaining. "To make it easier, the one who embraces her real eye color which hazel brown eyes is Athena, which the three of them had the same eye color without the lenses. And Aphrodite and Artemis they are kinda different sometimes. Aphrodite is tagged by her fans as a walking temptations, and netizens as a flirt because she was often involve in dating scandals. Artemis is the most gentle looking among them. She had that motherly aura in her, composed and sensible. Lastly, the one with heterochromia which her right eye is silver gray and her left eye is amber, that is my baby girl, Alectrona. The scary one of all." with a little bit laugh at the end when he said the last part. But everything vanished to my ears when she mentioned the name Aphrodite. His proceeding words did not register in my mind.

I watch him from the rearview mirror, and I can't quite tell if he is truly and madly in love with Alectrona or maybe he is just pretending. After all, he is the fearless Mafia boss of Italy.

Aphrodite.

Aphrodite.

Aphrodite.

Her name suits her well. The Goddess of love and beauty.

"What's Aphrodite complete name?" I inquire to Thanatos.

"Aphrodite Elpis Fortaleza-Lucianno." He simply said.

I nodded my head at him. He really knew them all even their real names. He is quite using his dual personality to gather information. It is both useful and harmfully deadly.

Aphrodite Elpis Fortaleza-Lucianno. What a nice name. She's now my leaf. It would be great if her surname will turn into Baltazar.

What a wonderful name. Music to my ears. I actually look crazy right now running my imagination wildly into my deepest desire. This is no longer healthy.

I don't even have a plan on marrying someone or creating my own family.

How the hell my thoughts get into this idea? This is not good at all. It will only lead to trouble and disaster.

But my haywire of thoughts and fantasies got ruin when we heard gunshots. Then, I heard Kratos suddenly groan in pain. When i look back, he was clutching his chest preventing too much blood loss.

"Fvck!" I cursed.

What the fvcking fvck!

We let out guard down! Who would have thought that we will be ambushed in this god-damned where! And this vehicle is not even a bullet proof.

We tried to retaliate but we didn't know where they come from. Is it a sniper? Because the bullet is almost in the heart. Or maybe the aim was really in his heart but the sniper missed it. It even pass through the front seat like it was really intended for Kratos.

Then, the next moment, many men in black catch up with us and rain us bullets.

Now I knew it. This is a trap. That Ace's' must have known that we are here thus their change of plans and ambush us.

Fvcking hell!

We tried to fight as much as we can. No matter how outnumbered we are. We wouldn't be the head of every family if we are weak. One last vehicle left.

Heracles step on gas to drove faster and I unpinned the grenade i was holding before throwing it out.

We are so beat that we just want to lay down and rest but i remembered Kratos. s**t!

"Hey man, can you hold up a little? We are so far from the civilization." I said. And he replied with a groans and his looking really pale. "Damn. We need to hurry up or he will die." I added and returned to my seat properly.

"We'll run out of time because this is near to barren—

"Wait. Pullover. I saw a fvcking doctor but she's holding a gun." Thanatos cut off Heracles from speaking when he saw a Doctor from a distance.

We were confused when we realize who it was.

"Athena?" We asked in unison except for Kratos who's now slowly dozing off to sleep.

"Pretend gentlemen. We don't know her." Thanatos replied and got out of the car.

And the next thing I knew, another fight broke out, but she treated us. We fix her tires. And we heard another gunshots. Then she let us go first and she followed.

And explosion of fires from a gun is what we heard in that quiet night. And before I knew it, we already go separate ways as she suddenly vanish into the night.

But a question left in our minds.

Who the hell is she?

And later, when I got the answers, I also found mine:

The answer to all my madness, my obsession, my undoing.

But she wasn’t the woman I wanted.

Not innocent.

Not untouched.

Just another body looking for warmth.

“She’s the kind of woman you taste, not keep,” I had told myself.

But life…

Life would soon prove just how wrong I was.
