Lana's POV
"I want to go out, Gabbi." I insisted again.
I'd been saying the same thing every single day in training for the last week. Gabbi reacted the same way every time, rolling her eyes and ignoring me as she continued her vicious mock-assault. I had to admit, I was surprised how much stronger and more agile I felt than before I had come here.
Maybe it was time to change tactics.
"What's the big deal with the vampires anyway?"
"What, you mean other than that they want to literally eat us?"
"Well... yeah, I mean, why do they?"
"It's getting too difficult to feed on humans, but it's not impossible. They basically just have a grudge, those evil b*stards."
That wasn't the answer I had been expecting.
"I mean... from a human perspective, werewolves seem pretty evil too... so"
