Kyla was up and out before Raleigh woke in the morning. He wasn’t entirely sure she’d slept at all after the late night they’d spent going over debts and assets. But she hadn’t kicked him out to another room, and he had to consider that was a step in the right direction. She felt something for him, beyond just attraction, and while she wasn’t comfortable with it, and didn’t seem to know what to do about it, she wasn’t putting distance between them.
