Jayson Katz I stirred around my room. Somehow, tonight's sleep kept evading me. There was something off, but I couldn't pinpoint what it was. I had called Allie earlier, and she was waiting for BJ. Despite the slight edge in her voice, everything sounded normal. Maybe she was missing me or bored, but I didn't think it was something serious. I stood up and paced my room. I opened the minibar and took a bottle of water. I would not dare drink alcohol before a game, nor drink a friendly drink like Coke or coffee.... so water will be. My heart pounded when my phone rang at close to one in the morning, and I stared at the unknown number. The screen flashed with a private number, and I wondered who the person on the other end should be. Maybe it was Jackson... "Hello..." I answered.
