It was a moment of joy; like anything, the joy in my life was short-lived. Jay's demeanor changed completely once we left the doctor's office and home. Something was off; I could feel it, and somehow, I knew it was going to be something that would change everything.
"Aren't you happy about the news?" I asked him, and he gave me a tight smile.
