Chapter 3: The Betrayal As the tournament progressed, the Elite faced even tougher opponents. But their biggest challenge came from within their own group. In their next match, Antwaun was up against Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Antwaun began the match by using his elemental powers to create a whirlwind around Katara, but she quickly countered with her own waterbending. As they battled, Antwaun noticed that Rashad was whispering something to Jose. He couldn't make out what they were saying, but he knew it couldn't be good. Antwaun continued to battle Katara, but he was distracted by the growing tension within the group. He made a mistake, leaving himself open for Katara to strike. Katara took advantage of the opening and knocked Antwaun out of the arena. As he got back up, he saw Rashad and Jose high-fiving each other, a smug look on their faces. Antwaun felt a wave of anger wash over him. He had always been close to Rashad and Jose, but now he felt betrayed. "You two were talking about me, weren't you?" Antwaun demanded, walking towards them. "What are you talking about?" Rashad replied, a hint of guilt in his voice. "Don't play dumb with me. I saw you whispering to Jose during the match," Antwaun said, clenching his fists. Jose stepped forward, flexing his muscles. "What are you going to do about it, ninja boy?" he taunted. Antwaun didn't respond, instead summoning his elemental powers and creating a wall of fire between him and the others. "I don't have time for this," Antwaun said, walking away. The rest of the Elite watched in silence, unsure of what to do. They knew that the tension within the group could tear them apart, but they also knew that they couldn't afford to lose focus if they wanted to win the tournament.
