17:52 Just a drive-by, He told himself as the hotel came in sight. He was already off duty and off the case, so, nothing more than a drive-by and a quick survey of the area. All of that changed when he saw the FAC-Ops clearing out and packing to leave. They were just going to make it quick so the hotel could move on with its activities. Typical when it was a big hotel in question. Now, it was no longer just a drive-by. Detective Chase parked to the side and stayed still watching their movements. There was no sign of Preston or the other lady whose name he didn’t even bother to invoke to his memory. It was no longer a drive-by and neither was it a quick survey of the area.
