Chapter 42: The Sick RoomThe huge man carrying Wesley followed Edith up the stairs to the second floor and to the door of their suite. She inserted the key, unlocked it, and stepped back. The man who had ordered Bob to sit down stepped up and held the door while Edith and the rest entered.
Wesley was carried into the bedroom and put on the bed after Matthew had put two pillows on top of each other to ease his breathing. He then turned to the group and spoke.
“All right, everyone out but immediate family. I want him to be able to breathe and rest.”
