“Why? I'm just going to emphasize that I withdraw my nomination and wish to go with them. I hope someone has told Gary I'm at this meeting.”
“You know nothing about a conference with Grandpa Mac. Gary will be there. He is part of the larger governing board. Are you sure you are prepared for all of this. It could be traumatic.”
“Oh, bull, Pris. I made it through medical school, doctored in Africa, and survived yesterday's trauma of finding out I'm Thalian.”
