Chapter 53: MissouriThere were seven people in the Cessna Citation. Llewellyn, Lorenz, Myra, David, Gary, and the two crew members. Myra's inability to mindspeak made the general conversation stilted. Lorenz was nursing a whiskey, Llewellyn and David had brew as Thalians called beer, while Myra and Gary were drinking a glass of Chablis.
Matthew had been livid when he realized that they had preempted the private jet and left him and Velma off the list as the plane would hold but eight people.
Myra was lost in thought. She wanted to talk with David, but there was no privacy here and it was obvious that the mindspeakers were using this opportunity to continue to train David. She finally stood and paced.
Gary wagged his glass at her. “Relax, your father will be fine once we are there.”
