~Avery's POV
I heard my father knock on my door, I was sitting anxiously waiting for Austin to show up. I wanted to wander downstairs but I didn't want to seem too eager.
"Austin's here." He said when I answered the door.
As hard as I tried to prevent it, my face broke out into a huge grin. He was early. It made me extremely happy that he seemed to be as excited as I was for this date. Despite our history and what I had heard about him we hadn't actually gone out and I was excited to spend time with him.
My dad chuckled at my excitement and I schooled my face into a neutral expression causing my dad to roll his eyes at me. I followed him down the stairs, butterflies erupting in my stomach, I was nervous to go out with him. As we approached the sitting room I saw Austin from behind,
