In a cafe, I continued to exchange messages with Ritwik.
"Tell the reporters we hired not to come today. They won't be able to capture any intimate photos of Avery and I," Ritwik messaged me.
I replied, "What's going on? We've already prepared a press release, but now we can't take any photos?"
"There's a wealthy, arrogant Alpha who's come to stir things up," he explained.
"Damn it!" I angrily set my phone down.
"What's wrong?" the she-wolf sitting across from me delicately stirred her coffee as she calmly asked.
"Lilian, there won't be any intimate photos of Avery and Ritwik today. Ritwik said someone is causing trouble."
"Stay calm," Lilian gently stirred her coffee. "As long as Avery and Ritwik are together, it will be on the news no matter what.”
