Chapter 02
Anastasia’s POV
As steam rise creating heat of passion through our body, Harrison’s hands trace each part of my body that sent shivers down to my spine. In the dim light of his villa’s bathroom, our body move in perfect sync, each touch, each kiss, that marked us… and a testament of our unspoken bond.
“Anastasia.” he murmur his voice husky wit desire, my breath hitching as he nibble gently on my ear down to my neck. The world outside was long forgotten and there were only us, the sound of the water, our breathing and our heartbeat.
“Harrison.” I whispered back, his hands travel from my face to my wet hair, pulling me closer.
As we move to the bedroom, wrapped in each other’s arm the intensity only deepens. Our connection feels more intense that a mere physical attraction, it’s like our souls were intertwined, a rare and unstoppable feeling forming as the night deepens.
We collapse onto the bed, the cool sheet differ from the heat between us. Our eyes locked with each other and he smirk as he kissed me deeply. His kiss was no other like the ones I experience, his kiss was soothing yet hot and intimate. His hands travel down my stomach and in between my thighs that made me moan.
His fingers were skillful as he rub my c**t and I could just moan as I hold my dear life with his back scratching it in the process. He insert it without warning that made me jerk, he chuckle which made me turn on.
“Do you like it?” He whispered as he move his hands inside of me, I can only nod but he wasn’t satisfied that he inserted two more finger that made me close my eyes tight. “How about that?”
“Y-yes.’ My legs were shaking and I try close my legs but he just spread it like nothing using his other hand… and before I could come he pulled his fingers and inserted his manhood that made me gulp and moan.
“You’re loud.” He whispered as he put both of my hands up my head and holding it tightly as he move. I could only scream by the pleasure, wanting to touch him but I couldn’t resist his hold.
Our breathing and movement sync and as he dive into my lips I couldn’t resist but close my eyes and own his lips like it’s mine. I want all of him, I want to hold him in every part of his body and I want to rock him all night long.
I don’t know if it’s the liquor or its him but this is making me crazy, that when we both came I pushed him down and smirk at his as I sat down to his hips.
He hold my waist and I grind my hips, kissing him on the lips as my hand travel to his chest. He moan and I let go our our kiss teasing him. I hold his manhood full on my hands and I bite my lips as I suck it. I enjoyed it like it’s my favorite candy, liking, kissing and sucking it.
He was closing his eyes and grab me by the hair as he scream with pleasure. I then enter it to mine without a warning and start riding him like there’s no tomorrow.
“Fuck.” His curses were like music to my ear and the way he hold me is slutty but at the same time caring that’s making me wanting him more despite having him right now.
I know that I was going to regret this tomorrow but right now I’m fully giving myself to the man who made me feel seen and appreciated like never before.
When we both came I collapsed on his chest and he comb my hair using his fingers in a calm way. “Tell me something real.” He whispered.
I raised my head and look at him, his eyes were deep and sincere and I bit my lips as I answered. “I’m not who you think I am.” I answered and before he could ask me more I pretend to be asleep until I really did.
Harrison’s POV
As the sun rises and the curtain move with the wind, I can’t help but smile while looking at Anastasia, her face illuminating with the sun hitting her face.
I carefully get out to the bed, planting a little kiss with her forehead. I want to surprise her with a breakfast. I’m sure she’s tired after the night we had.
I dress quietly and head out to the restaurant of the resort. The morning air was cold, filled with scent of the sea. As I pick out of food and coffee, I couldn’t help but smile as I imagine her smile when she wakes up with the surprise.
When I return to the villa, I felt a strange feeling as I went my way to the room. “Anastasia?” I called her but there were no response… and when I arrived at the room, she was no longer there… and my heart slowly sink realizing that she was gone.
Her belongings are still here, but there’s no note, no indication where she might be. I was confuse and anxious. I search the beach, the resort, everywhere she might gone to but she’s no where to be found.
She mentioned that she lived nearby and I also saw her coming to the bar with a friend but when I went to her friend she couldn’t answer me. Saying that Anastasia is a mysterious woman. I don’t know if she’s telling the truth but when I went to their house, it was empty and there were no signs of life that drove me crazy.
But I wasn’t quick to give up, everyday and night I showed up there hoping that she will come back but days passed by and I start to lose hope… I want to hire someone to find her but realized that I only know her name and nothing more… I even ask some locals about her but they could only answer that she wasn’t that friendly and was not open about her whereabouts.
I felt frustrated, I couldn’t focus on the last day of the seminar. My mind was flying and thinking of possibilities where I might find her… but I realized that she wasn’t really open about her life… but I need to find her, I want to see her again, and I want to ask why she left.
The drive home was quiet but not serene as I kept thinking of Anastasia. I sigh when I realize I was back in the city, reality crashed through me as I park my car.
“Finally, you’re home.” My wife hugged me tightly.
I have a wife, the thought is like a dagger to my heart, a reminder of the life I’ve been running away from. As we enter the house, guilt sink within my gut as she kissed my lips and I could only think of Anastasia.
I looked at Isabella who’s smiling, excited to see me, her smile is warm and loving but not enough to ease the frustration of Anastasia’s mysterious disappearance.
“You okay?” Isabella wrapped her arms around me. I gasp, her touch felt foreign, a reminder of the lies and secret that now stands between us.
“Yes.” I manage to answer, my voice hollow. I need to find Anastasia, I want to see her again and I want to ask her what drove her away.
I look at my wife and try to find something that I saw in Anastasia but I just couldn’t, I kissed her lips wanting to feel the same electricity of that night but felt nothing but coldness, that’s driving me crazy.
Isabella and I looked at each other, she smiled blushing from what I did but little did she know was I felt empty within that kiss… and I don’t think she could fill the void inside me.
Anastasia’s POV
I board the plane with a heavy heart, I didn’t mean to leave Harrison but it was necessary. I don’t want him to get tangled up with the messed up life I have. There were things he can’t know, a secret that’s keeping me alive.
As the plane takes off, I reflect on the with the life I’m living. My real name isn’t Anastasia. I’ve been living under this identity due to an accident where two old married couple saved me… and ask for a favor who’s daughter is sick.
They couldn’t bear the public scandal as it could destroy their empire. I had my doubts but they assured me that no one except for the maids who had seen Anastasia as she was hidden to the public eye and will only show up in a perfect time. It was a perfect escape for me… and to the people that are after me… and with that I took her place for the past five years.
“You have to stay strong.” I said to Anastasia as I hold her hand tightly.
She shook her head. Her parents are outside the room talking to her doctors. She was admitted due to drug overdose planned by mysterious people that we’re still finding. She overcome that night but her organs are failing and the only the tubes connecting to her body is keeping her alive.
“Take care of my parents for me, and our business. You’re the only person that could save us.” Her voice shaking.
“No, you’ll take care of them. So hang in there and we’ll find those people who did this to you.”
She only smiled and as she slowly close her eyes, the machines start making sounds that made me panic, doctors immediately rushed to the room and we were dragged outside, I was in shock while her parents cried nonstop.
A month has passed after all of that and now I’m back to doing what I really came here for. I slip into the role I’ve adopted for the past years, blending into the night life of this new city.
Dressed in disguise, I make my way to a known bar for it’s shady dealing. I needed evidence to expose those people who wronged Anastasia.
Inside the the dimly lit bar, the air thick with smoke and secrets, I approach the shady dealer that I heard off. “Got any good stuff?”
His brows creased and eyes me warily before leading me to the back door. The transaction was quick, hidden beneath my coat was a recording device capturing every word.
A smile left my mouth with the drugs on my hand, satisfied with the first piece of evidence. This is only the beginning. As I stepped out with the cool night, the neon lights felt eerie. I glance at a nearby TV screen in the bar window.
My heart stops… there on the scree, is a news broadcast featuring my step-sister, the root cause of my pain. She’s living her dream life, smiling for the cameras, the picture of innocence and charm. My blood boils of how unfair life is to me… and inside of me lit up, wanting to take revenge.
I pull out my phone and snap a photo of the news. I had enough of hiding in the darkness… it’s time to gather more evidence to bring her and the corrupt company she’s shielding to crash down… I sigh heavily feeling the urge to immediately do that… but first I need a plan.
As I walk away, a shadow figure stepped out from the alleyway, I felt like the person is watching me closely. The hair from my nape stand up as I sense the presence. I quicken my pace, feeling of being hunted sending chill down my spine, bringing me back to that night… but the person disappear and my eyes widen upon seeing a familiar face in front of my hotel.
“Harrison.” I whispered under my breath.
