  I stepped off the empty elevator, my combat boots gently thumping against the tiled floor as I strolled casually to the corner that lead to the main lounge. There were people there. I wondered why they were still up these early hours of the morning.   I peeked around the corner and found Leith, still slouched over on the couch, sleeping. Luke and Peter were conversing back and forth, but they were clearly tired from waiting. I took a step back and leaned against the wall, taking a deep breath in and letting it out.   I needed to get out of here but I didn't want them noticing. I looked around for another exit... but the glass doors leading to the training room and the field were being occupied by extremely alert policemen and guards.
