Sister Squad

Chapter 4

Envy POV

Soooo, let's recap what happened. One: my name is Envy and my sisters' names are Blu and Daisy. We are half deities and half witches. We have been running for 21 years. Two: we found our mate and are currently running from them now. Three: we are in an accident. So this is my point of view.

So, we were in the clear from the police and our mates. Everything was peaceful and quiet. Daisy was driving with ease and everyone was looking forward to our new life ahead. But the future is always messing with us. Especially when I can see how it is going to be from my sister's head. 

A few minutes into the drive, and I saw something strange in the distance. It was fast approaching and I was worried. As we were driving, I could sense something was off when I heard her thoughts.

"Oh, is that a car? Wait its out of control! Okay, I need to drive away from them now!" and with that she sped up, but unfortunately, as we got closer to the out-of-control car, it turned and drove us against a tree. I blacked out as soon as it happened. I opened my eyes to see the site before me. My two sisters who were in the front seat were unconscious and looked bad. Both their legs got crushed and pinned as they sat where they were. I was about to have a sea of tears fall from my eyes when I heard Daisy make a sound and I moved to her. 

"Keep your eyes open D! Please keep them open! Stay with me! I need you!!!" I said to her, trying to keep her alive and me from completely losing it.

What you don't know is that ever since birth we have been attached to each other, not just as sisters but spiritually. Our spirits' energy flows to each other evenly and if one is hurt we feel it, if one is sad or filled with too many emotions, we all feel it. But if one dies, we will feel our soul die. It is said that we were one soul split into three, hence why our spiritual energy is so strong and we are the way we are. But we are actually one soul split into three.

However, Daisy closed her eyes no matter what I said. So to save them, I got out and went to the car that caused this. I was going to take whoever's life was left and swap it for my sisters, but again, unfortunately, NO ONE WAS LEFT ALIVE! I also realize this is pure human error. So, in the driver's seat, the driver is dead with a bullet to his head and the one next to him has a bullet to the heart, also the one in the back has a bullet to her chest. So what happened?  After realizing it was no use, I did the next worse thing: seek help from the werewolves. Daisy is not going to like this.

I dragged the girls out of the car and lay them on the grass beside the accident at a far distance that took place. I cast a spell on the girls so they could walk. This spell will not make them walk permanently but make them walk, so it's easier for me. They are like puppets and I am the puppet master. As I am walking in the forest with the tall trees looming over me and the night shining bright with the moon, I can feel something is about to happen as soon as we have entered into a werewolf pack. But I don't care, my sisters need help and that is what is going to happen; receive the help and we leave. Win-win for all.

I then hear the voices of wolves approaching in my head, so I brace myself for what is about to come. 

They approach. Some in wolf form, two in human form naked. I am not bothered by it. For a fact, I am irritated that they are in my way of seeking help to save my sisters. But then again, this is their pack and they are protecting it.

'What is she doing and who is she?' I heard one of them say in the mind-link they have as a pack.

They make it so easy to know what is going on. But they don't know I can hear them. I smirked at my thought, but that only irritated one of them as she growled at me furiously. Again I cared little about it. The one in human form asked me this question with a serious, cold and deadly tone.

"Who are you and what are you doing here in our territory?" wait won't they first test and see if I am human....wait my sent is not human. I forgot. Since the accident happened, I had no time to mask our scent, so it is only appropriate that they think I am intruding into their territory. 

The she-wolf said through the mind-link 'Call the Alpha now! And tell him what is going on!' with her commanding tone. I like her. She oozed authority but not enough to scare me. The only person that can scare me is.....HIM. The guy in human form asked again,

"Who. Are. You? and, What. Are. You. Doing. Here?" Okay, I think I will answer him.

"My sisters are hurt and need medical attention." I stated and told him the truth without breaking eye contact. The other guy, who was also naked with blonde hair, snorted, then said,

"Why should we believe you witch? For all we know, you could have done this to them and come to do the same to us!" he exclaimed, but continued, "and you did not answer a question about who you are." 

I rolled my eyes at him, then answered, "Like I said, my sisters need medical attention quickly and as for who I am...." I had a sly smile on my face and not one of them liked it, some even growled. But I chuckled instead because they think I am scared of them when, in truth, I am far from it. Again, the she-wolf said before she attacked me.

'Have you reached out to the Alpha yet?!' she shouted in the mind-link to one of her pack members, then he responded, 'Yeah, he said he was on his way.' With that she attacked. 

In reflex, I used my magic to toss her far back, hitting a tree that made a thudding sound as she hit and fell to the ground. The others looked at me with more hate and anger. The two human men shifted into their wolfs and attacked me too. I was able to create a barrier between me and them with fire and the closer they got, the more flames I threw at them. I heard whimpers and I felt bad, but it was the only way to protect us. Then I felt it. the mate bond. He was close. Damn it, I said to myself. But it was too late. They were already here. 

They were in their wolf form. My mate was standing on his alpha's left side (which would be my right side) as I looked at him. I would see the hatred and anger of the alpha and the other guy standing on his right side (my left side). I then heard their thoughts.

'Wait Alex, isn't that your mate and what is she doing with my mate, keeping her captive with those bruises all over??!' the guy on the right side of the alpha said. So my mate's name is Alex. Good to know. One of the wolves thought I was distracted, so she tried again to attack but I blocked her, sending her flying again into that same tree to the same spot she fell the first time. I couldn't help laughing at it. But their conversation continued.

'I don't know. But we have to figure it out now, because those girls don't look too good', Alex said. Then what he said next warmed my heart just a bit, 'But I believe in my mate, she did not do anything to those girls.' I smiled internally at that.

'Are you sure?!! Because, just like us, you just met her and know nothing about her!' the alpha stated loudly at Alex. The volume made me flinch, but that went unnoticed.

'Yes, I am sure Nic, she is good. I can feel it.' Alex then said to the alpha, who's name is Nic, so what's the other guys name? I wondered.

'Charlie can you---' He answered my question without realizing it, but I cut off Nic by saying.

"I did not hurt my sisters and I can prove it." I told them, looking them in the eyes as I said my statement. Then Nic shifted to his human form and I next dropped my fire barrier.

"Prove it." he demanded with his alpha tone. It does not affect me, but it will with his pack and which of my two sisters is his mate. So I played along to not look suspicious. I stepped forward and hooked my hands around his neck and brought his head to my level. That made Alex growl with jealousy and I could not help but smile and laugh internally at it. It brought back my attention to what I needed to do.

So, hooking both my hands around Nic's neck and pulling his head to my level, I then placed his forehead on mine and showed him the truth. I showed him my fun memories with my sisters, our birth together as well as the recent accident that happened. After showing him, I stepped back and said,

"Well, there you go. The proof you need to know that I did not do this to my sisters." 

"She is telling the truth!" he shouted so that every wolf could hear. Then they all backed off just a bit but with their guards up. I don't blame them. Then Nic said with authority lacing his tone.

"Now, I am taking my mate as well as Charlie's to our pack hospital so that we can help them. And you have no say in the matter." he walked past me and picked up my sister Daisy in bridal style and I immediately thought. Oh daisy is not going to love this not one bit at all! Charlie did the same and I followed them from behind. Our goal was to get away from them. Now they are helping us and we are going to be staying awhile. I just know it.
