CHAPTER 34 | Caleb –––––––– The morning staff meeting will be done by now, I think, sinking into one of Tate’s plushy leather armchairs while I wait for him. Ellie will be off riding and doing chores and heading for Mrs. Mar’s any time now. Even if I wanted to catch up with her, I couldn’t make it back in time. Not that I want to catch up with her. “Hey,” Tate says as he opens his office door. We’re supposed to do lunch today, but I’ve been waiting for a half hour and from the looks of it, Tate’s been busy.
