The night was cold, even though it is generally a hot country. The black sky, along with its beautiful shining stars, fascinated me in ways I could barely explain. It reminded me of a part of a poem I had written back when I was about fifteen years old.   “What happens when you start finding beauty in the darkness that surrounds you?
