It’s been weeks since I last saw Bella, and I couldn’t help the restlessness I’ve been feeling about all of it. Ralph told me to thread carefully but I honestly couldn’t depict the hidden meaning behind it no matter how hard I tried.
Her family members, particularly her mother, have been cold to me, making it clear with their actions that they didn’t want me around the house. I had no reasons, but I’d be damned if I tried to force my way through doors that were shut in my face.
Cora on the other hand was my responsibility and even in Bella’s absence I made sure to take care of her mother. I had invited the best cardiologist in the country to treat her and from the reports from the doctor she was showing signs of improvements already.
