I was looking out the window watching the scene unfold in front of me. The twins had finally broken through, and the dome was gone now. I can't believe my mother was here ... for me. I was a fool to ever believe this man would ever accept me, I thought to myself as I looked at Victor's face. I glanced over at Anna and she was spaced out, her eyes glazed over. I waved my hand in front of her face, but no response. I looked back outside, not wanting to alert my dad. I had to keep his attention off of Anna. I had to find a way to get outside and get to our moms. They would know what to do. But ... how was I going to do that?
