Catching Up

To pass time in relaxation, peace, or pleasure.
Standing in the shower, the cruise ship rocked just enough to remind you that you were at sea.
As I turned the water off, a sudden pitch and roll made me lose my balance, and I bumped my head against the tiled wall.
Looking down, I saw the tip of an iron foot bobbing and weaving on some kind of skateboard.
I heard Nili-boy’s voice say, “Don’t give up.”
I blinked and Nili-boy’s voice turned into the sound of the shower drain dripping.

But the moment was gone.
I wrapped a silk robe around me twice before turning off the bathroom light and walking out into our suite.
