CHAPTER 4

We’re on our way to school and Zyliah is unusually silent on the ride. She just stared at the window the whole time and I wonder what she is thinking but I don’t want to ask her anyway. She will tell it and open up to me if she wanted to and I respect her privacy if she’s not ready to share it with me. If she needs my help, she will eventually say it but I won’t ask and force her to say it just like me that has something that she doesn’t know about and I am not yet ready to tell it to her. I do trust her it’s just that it is a rule of us not to tell any outsider about the firm…yet

And I felt guilty about it because we both swore to each other not to keep secrets. I promise I will tell her sooner.

‘’we’re here’’ - I said waking her senses as I parked in the car in the parking lot

We still have about 15 minutes but the school building takes up almost 5 minutes of it because it is located far from where the school parking is and we have to walk our way there

‘’uuuugghhhhh’’ - she said as she stretches a bit after getting out. I smiled at the sight of her, she has been in a single position all throughout the ride

‘’have you heard about the new transferee?’’ - she said as we began to walk together

‘’no why?’’

‘’as usual, you don’t know’’ - she said then shrugged almost rolling her eyes

‘’Sometimes I wonder if do you really go to school because you are always out of school rumors’’ -she added her voice a little annoyed

‘’whatever, just get to the point. What is with that transferee?’’ - I said not minding her rants

She’s the type of student that is always updated on all the things that are going on in our school and I will only know if she will tell it to me. I have almost gone to trouble once because of this trait of mine that doesn’t care about anything that has been going on in school

*flashback*

I am now here at the school canteen eating snacks but something really weird I have been feeling earlier until now like I feel so bothered and restless since this morning but I just ignored it.

The school seems so busy doing their own thing like everyone I saw could be either running back and forth or carrying tons of books reading their face-off.

Seriously what is wrong with everyone today? Even the canteen is almost empty even when I know these time, students are loud here chitchatting.

‘’WHAT THE HELL! WHERE HAVE….YOU….B-BEEN!! I’ve been looking for you like forever!’’ - I saw Zyliah came rushing towards me after almost breaking the canteen glass door. She puts her hands on my shoulders as she catches her heavy breathes

‘’what? Why? What is going on why are you in a hurry?’’ - I said then sip my lemon juice. Can everybody chill? There ain’t a WW-III going on right?

‘’What! You don’t know what is going on?!!’’ she said then looks at me in disbelief

I gave her a nonchalant look then shook my head

‘’Mr. Hendor is having his final exam in the stadium Lia! Why didn’t you know that!’’

‘’what? Why? How? Why would he do that?’’ I said then stood on my table

‘’I have no idea but everyone is going crazy about the urgent announcement’’ - she said as she hands me her notebooks

‘’here, have my reviewer, read my notes and reserve me a seat at the stadium. I have something to deliver at the faculty’’ - she said then began sprinting outside

I was panicking about how to handle the situation. It is the end of the last semester and all of the exams have finally been done except for our Personal Development which is handled by Mr. Hendor the most unpredictable and terror prof in the school.

Every year, he always surprises students with his urgent and unbelievable way of giving his exams and I didn’t know and no one expected it either that he will be doing this years’ final exam at the freaking stadium!? seriously? Like who does that?

*end of flashback*

‘’hey! Are you listening!?’’

I heard Zyliah’s voice wake up my mind as she snaps her fingers in my face.

‘’ow yeah sorry, what was it again?’’ - I said

She sighed and rolled her eyes at me

‘’I said, there is a new guy transferring to our class’’ - she said with a nagging tone

‘’oh yeah? So what about it?’’

‘’everyone’s going nuts about him. They said he is drop-dead gorgeous’’ - she said

‘’and he’s an Ynzon so I think he is related with Edxielle you know’’ - she said then her face began to heat and her ears started to turn red

Oh, I get it. The guy has something to do with her long-time crush.

‘’ok, cool’’ - I just replied with a shrug

Then her face turn into this ‘-_-’

‘’What?’’

‘’you don’t get it don’t you?’’ - she said while almost stomping her feet in annoyance

‘’get what?’’

‘’you know what sometimes I really hate you. Do you even have a sense of feelings? Like can’t you read my mind or even have a hint of what I am trying to say?’’ - she said

‘’I just can’t think of anything right now so can you get to the point?’’ - I said honestly

She rolled her eyes that I cannot almost see her pupil. Hardcore much?

‘’ok, whatever. So here’s the catch, imagine if they both will go home together and then Edxielle would wait outside our classroom for him and I can see him every day without climbing up to the top floor of our building for their classroom, imagine that!!!’’ - she said and even squeaked at the end

I gave her the most disgusting look I could ever make

‘’you really overthink that far huh? You really think they live together?’’ - I said

‘’yes, what’s wrong with it? I mean they can live together because they’re cousins even though they are both males---

She stopped in the middle of her phrase when she realized something. Her love for BL now fills her mind as she stares at me wide-eyed her eyes almost sparkling with joy

The perks of having a guy crush when you support BL is that you won’t get mad if you fantasize about your crush with another male.

‘’Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhgdhsjfgyufgrfsjakryfurjdknf what the, I’m so confused right now but whatever may happen either of what I am thinking, I am happy about it’’ - she said and grabbed me heading to our class
