Patching up the Wolf

Your coloring is amazing I said softly. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a black and white wolf before but it’s amazing. I used antiseptic and he snarled and snapped. I know I said gently but it’ll get infected otherwise. He whimpered. I know. You’re doing great. I started cleaning him up. At least you’re not an Alpha wolf. They’re all black usually. I fixed an Alpha wolf once and his whole pack cornered me and attacked me. I was in the hospital for months. He looked at me. I know I know. I laughed. Then why help? Because I always feel like I have to. I used to be in a pack. His ears perked up. Mhm. It’s true. But my pack didn’t like women who fought and hated that I was the pack doctor and I was a woman. I was told to stay in the kitchen. He growled. I know. So I severed ties and left. I wanted to pursue my passion and I did. Got my masters from UC Davis in medicine and vet medicine and now I work at a practice. Sometimes I feel like a huge piece of me is missing but I’m doing better. He nudged me. No my wolf has been gone since I left my pack. It might’ve been permanent. I don’t know. He sniffed me again and whimpered. I know. It’s been too quiet without my wolf. Sad part? He yipped. I figured but if you tear the stitches out I’ll have to redo it so think about it. And no you can’t shower tonight. Don’t need ya passing out on me. I hesitated then thought what the heck? We’ll assume he’s a werewolf. I put men’s clothes in the guest room. If you wanna change there’s clothes on the bed in the guest room. Call me if the stitching rips. Otherwise I’ll assume you’re all set and I can go to bed and clean up the crime scene that is my kitchen I joked.
