She felt lightheaded, her head felt heavy as a very strong pain hit her hard.

Everything was dark and all she could see were the red mixed with silver eyeballs staring at her, as if it could see right into her soul.

She remembered her body falling and everything going black making her scream out loud.

Her eyes flew open.

The bright lights made her squint eyes, her hands flew to her banging head.

“It hurts”, she thought as her head felt as if it was breaking into two.

Her vision was blurry, her hands went straight to her eyes, rubbing it slightly before her eyes flew open.

The environment feels unfamiliar as the room was painted all black, but the lights and chandeliers in the room were all shining brightly.

“ I’m I dead ? Oh my goodness, what the f**k” her head hurts as her brain started processing different thoughts at the same time.

She stood up hurriedly but fell back to the bed almost immediately as she felt dizzy making it difficult for her to stand properly on her feet without help.

She placed her hands on the wall as a support before standing up to her feet. Her eyes caught the sight of a mirror.

She made sure her hands were holding tightly to the wall before she started taking slow and steady steps to the mirror in the room.

She caught the sight of herself and her breath goy caught in her throat.

Her head was bandaged and her neck filled with healing bruises ,same as her hands.

Wait a minute!.

Even if she was dead she should be here in the after world in her skinny pants and hoodie not this black silk two piece set on her body. She thought to herself

“Something is wrong, I can feel it” she thought as her eyes darted towards the door as she heard noise outside it.

She held the wall as she walked towards the door weakly, she opened the door and it revealed a very gigantic building making her jaws drop to the ground with eyes wide open.

“ Even my parents Wildwolf whole clan as a whole isn’t as big as this gigantic afterworld” she thought to herself till her eyes caught the sight of the people passing by.

The people were all dressed in all black,they all kept staring at her , which she found very weird.

Some glared which made her scared.

Others passed while staring and whispering at each other.

Some eyed her.

“What’s going on? Do they find me weird here even when I am dead too ? Are humans weaker even in after life” different thoughts went through her head as she kept walking round the gigantic building weakly.

Different people walked past giving her weird and dirty looks.

While she walked around lost in the beauty of the building , she was mesmerized at how huge ,and dangerously beautiful the place looked at the same time.

Some walked past her but some of their whispers were loud enough for her to hear which made her feet stay glued to the ground.

“ Alpha Devile’s niece”

“ Ohh I remember , her parents and brothers brought her here unconscious”

“ Her aura felt weak like a human”

“ she was unconscious for two weeks you dumbass wolf so she would be weak”

Her head was beginning to spin so fast at everything she has heard so far.

“I’m in my so-called Alpha uncle’s clan ? My family brought me here even when I refused ? They even brought me here when I was unconscious?” She mumbled to herself as her thoughts were spiraling so fast.

Different thoughts were flowing in and out of her brain at the same time

Different eyes were on her as she started running , not fast since her whole world was spinning around right in front of her face.

“ where’s the goddamn entrance , I need to the get the f**k out of here” she screamed her lungs out as she roughened her hair as tears rolled down her eyes.

She felt betrayed by her family.

This building is so big and she found it hard to see the door to get out of the building since every goddamn door leads to different rooms;halls , dining and various places in the same building.

Her barefooted legs were numb from running and moving around , all eyes were on her, she tried to move past them all but she couldn't.

They stood staring at her, while some kept giving her death glare. Some whispered and pointed fingers.

Her breathing became fast and unsteady , her head was aching as it felt like it was going to split into two.

She could feel the eyes of the people on her, both men and women dressed in black , their voices all over her head.

Everywhere began to spin around , her sight became dizzy and fuzzy.

She felt her body falling and landing painfully to the ground before she blacked out.

A tall, huge and muscular figure stood watching from a high place in the building, his face held no emotion as his face remained blank as he watched the scene unfolding in his hallway.

His hand remained fixed in his pants that sagged lazily. His face black at the scene that unfolded right in front of him.

His brows moved up a little bit as he brought out a cigarette from his pocket , he lit up the cigarette and placed the stick in his mouth puffing out smoke after taking a drag.

He watched as the guards carried Shayla from the ground back upstairs.

A figure dressed in a white shirt and a brown pant trouser stood behind him and bowed which made Alpha Devile turn slightly.

He looked at Shawn Benego who kept his head down.

Devile punched him right in his tummy making Shawn fall to the ground while groaning.

“ Don’t f*****g bow Shawn “ Devile said as he placed his hands back into his pocket same way it came out.

Shawn chuckled as he stood up from the ground holding his tummy, he adjusted his shirt and dust of the little dirt on it.

He’s obsessed with neatness just like Richard.

“ Guess we have a child to baby sit now in the house” Shawn said as he stood side by side with Devilewhose gaze remained fixed on everyone.

Shawn looked at him with no expectation of getting a reply, being able to get a word out of his mouth by bowing was intentional.

He doesn’t even know when last he heard his voice.

Ever heard of a silent killer ? That’s who Alpha Devile is.

“ She looks like trouble , I smell drama soon Alpha” Shawn said with a smile on his lip, his eyes traced the gaze of Devile down to where the guards are.

The guards looked up ,they all bowed immediately as they saw him from where he stood tall and mighty.

He was at sixth floor in the building.

One thing about werewolves is they’re incredibly blessed with good eye sight.

They all bowed and looked up at the same time before rushing off.

“ What was the message you sent them ? Any problem ?” Shawn asked as he already knew Devile just gave the guards access to get his message through mindlink.

Devile looked at him before leaving the spot he was standing as he started walking away.

Shawn walked after him looking curious as he walked fast to match his pace.

“ Told them to treat her ,chain her to the bed and lock the door” Shawn heard his voice in his head as he kept walking with his hands inside his pocket..

“ What the hell, She’s a visitor here not a slave and she’s your f*****g niece “ Shawn said trying to convince him as he walked side by side beside him.

He waved at each maids and guards they passed by, they all bowed and greeted Devile who neither replied nor looked at them.

“ Every other person treats their niece nicely but you’re trying to chain her up . Like I heard she’s used to being treated like a princess despite being a human.Be nice to her” He said while unbuttoning the guest two buttons on his chest leaving the passing maids drooling at the sight.

Even though he’s not as good looking as Richard.

“ I’m not a babysitter and not like anyone , no pampering in my clan. My clan , my rules .” His voice sounded authoritative and low at the same time.

Shawn looked at him before shaking his head with a smile.

“ She’s just human” Shawn added slowly, trying to sound convincing.

“ Dying by my hands will be next if she won’t adhere to my rules” He said as he stopped walking and turned back to face Shawn who moved back hurriedly.

“ She’s human and you’re strict , adhering to your rules here might be hard since she’s not used to it” Shawn said he took a few steps backward.

“ Make it more fun, I’ll kill her, butcher her into pieces and make sure she doesn’t fill a box then make fishes in the ocean feast on her body.” He said coldly before walking off.
