"Liana, I want to know more about you," Dimas said with a soft smile. "You seem so focused on work and studying, but I feel like there’s another side to you that not many people know."
Liana gave a small smile, a little surprised by Dimas’s question. "I... I just try not to get too tied to one thing, Dimas. Sometimes, I feel like my life is too structured, and I need to find something more."
Dimas nodded, as if understanding. "That’s natural. Sometimes we need something that takes us out of the routine. But I think you also need someone to share with, not just work and goals."
Liana felt a subtle vibration in her heart as Dimas spoke. There was something about the way Dimas saw the world that intrigued her. However, she also remembered that Arga—who had originally been part of the plan—had shown care and kindness far beyond her expectations. Arga made her feel accepted unconditionally, without needing to explain everything about herself. It was a comfort she rarely felt.
A few minutes later, Dimas turned to her and said seriously, "Liana, I feel like we could be closer. I enjoy spending time with you like this. If you don’t mind, I’d like for us to get to know each other better."
Liana paused, her heart racing. Dimas’s words were sweet and sincere, but she couldn’t ignore the reality that something deeper was stirring inside her. She felt trapped, not only between two men, but also between two very different worlds.
"I..." Liana paused, trying to find the right words. "I don’t know, Dimas. I..."
Dimas looked at her, as if understanding her confusion. "You don’t have to answer right away. I just want you to know that I’m here, and I’d like to get to know you more. No pressure, no rush."
Liana nodded slowly. "Thank you, Dimas. I appreciate that."
After a few moments of silence, Dimas added softly, "You know, Liana, life is often about making choices. Sometimes we have to choose what makes us happy, even if it’s difficult."
His words seemed to echo in Liana’s heart. She felt stuck at a crossroads, and the more she thought about everything, the more uncertainty grew.
That night, Liana met Arga again at the café. They sat at the same table, but the atmosphere was very different from their previous meeting. This time, Liana didn’t know what to say. Arga looked at her with a caring gaze, as if waiting for Liana to reveal something important.
"You seem distant today," Arga said as he poured coffee into her cup.
Liana looked at the coffee in front of her, then raised her gaze to Arga. "I’m confused, Arga. I feel like I have to choose between you and Dimas, and I don’t know how."
Arga fell silent. His face remained calm, but there was a slight furrow in his brow. "Liana, I’ve already told you this is no longer a game. I’m starting to feel more than just pretending. I’m not someone who likes being treated like this, but I also can’t let you decide without telling you how I feel."
Liana felt her heart twist. Arga’s words seemed to touch the deepest part of her. "I never meant to make you feel this way, Arga. But I... I don’t know what to choose."
Arga looked at her for a long time, then sighed softly. "I know this isn’t easy for you, Liana. And I don’t want you to feel pressured. But I want you to be honest with yourself. Don’t choose just because I or Dimas want you to. Choose what makes your heart feel at peace."
Liana bit her lower lip, trying to hold back the tears that were about to fall. "I don’t want to hurt you."
Arga nodded slowly. "I know. But sometimes we have to be ready to face the reality that not everything goes the way we want."
Liana felt a pain in her chest. All this time, she thought she could control everything. But now, she knew that the feelings growing inside her were stronger than she had ever imagined. Both Arga and Dimas made her feel differently, and now she had to choose between them.
However, the choice wasn’t that simple. She knew that whatever decision she made, there would be consequences she would have to face. And that was a difficult reality to accept.
Liana sat quietly on the park bench, her eyes staring blankly at the calm lake. That morning felt different—quieter than usual. The sound of the gentle wind, the falling leaves, and the chirping birds seemed to be the backdrop to her confusion. She had spent days trying to organize her thoughts, trying to decide what to do, but the decision only grew harder.
Dimas and Arga—two very different men, but both important in her life. Liana could no longer ignore the feelings she had for each of them. Arga, who had always been by her side, who had taught her so much about sincerity and kindness. Dimas, who always made her feel like her life was full of adventure and mystery, a man full of surprises and not easy to predict.
Liana felt how complicated her emotions had become. On one hand, Arga offered the comfort she needed, a safe place for herself. She felt that even though their relationship had started as a game, she was beginning to find comfort in Arga’s presence. On the other hand, Dimas brought something that made her feel more alive, bolder, more spontaneous.
She took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. That day, she promised herself to make a decision—a decision that could change her life forever.
Since the morning, Liana had decided to meet Arga. It seemed she needed to speak with him first, to clarify everything before she could move forward. Arga had always known how to make her feel comfortable, how to make her feel accepted without conditions. However, as time passed, she knew that what she was feeling could no longer be called "pretend."
Liana arrived at the café where they usually met. She walked slowly, glancing at the table in the corner where they always sat. Arga was already there, sitting with a cup of coffee in front of him, his eyes fixed on Liana with intense attention. His face couldn’t hide it—there was doubt clearly visible in his eyes.
"Liana, you came," Arga said with a slight smile, although Liana could see that his smile wasn’t entirely sincere.
Liana sat across from him and looked at the man for a long time. Arga was wearing a black t-shirt with his favorite leather jacket, his appearance still neat and casual, but there was something different. There was something in the way Arga looked at her that made Liana feel uncertain.
