Sophia's POV
If Justin was surprised, he did not show it. Instead he reached for a pillow and ripped it behind his neck.
“How did you know about that?” He asked in a calm manner. He is not even denying this. Gosh. This is true?
“Oh so it is true. I can't believe you are choosing that crazy Angela over me. How can you propose to her?” I asked sounding pissed.
Deep down inside me, I knew there is more to this sudden marriage springing from nowhere. They are not even dating so how come they are getting married.
“i have every right to my decisions Sophia and about choosing her over you,I told you from the onset that we are just having fun. No strings attached. I want to go have a shower” he said as he picked up his towel to enter the bathroom.
This Guy!.
Something in me kept screaming that their coming wedding is just a facade. There is a solid reason behind it all. I can't believe he is marrying that dirty Angela of all people. Gross. That witch.
I wore my clothes and dropped a note on his bed. I need to go and do some findings.
I walked out of the house and just when I got to the front door, I met his step mom.
Gosh! This witch again?
Angela's POV
Ever since the wedding date has been fixed, different vendors keeps coming to our house with samples of dresses, jeweleries and accessories including gifts and gift designs. Our house became quite busy as the preparation for ‘my’ wedding has begun.
Our official visit to Justin's home is in a few days and mom has suggested I go to the mall to get some few things. With the look of things, it seems my family is the one seeking the favor of the Theodore's, more like we have the lower power.
I got dressed and made up nicely. Two of my friends would be meeting me at the mall so I am not alone.
I got into my car and the driver drove out. Thanks to the contract, we won't have to fire our staffs and liquidate our assets. I think the marriage is our saving grace and I am willing to do it over and over again to save my family from the shame.
One of the worst things to ever happen in life is to go from being wealthy to being poor. Many families had gone bankrupt in the past and they are not juicy stories. They are tragedic stories to once sweet stories.
A typical example is that of Mr Craig. Mr Craig is one of my Dad's partner and even wealthier than my father but he got greedy. He invested in a venture that seems profitable but it failed woefully.
There were mockery and jeers from the world, social media was not left behind. People trolled and dragged them on social media that they became a laughing stock in the country.
I do not care what people would say about me saving my parents from bankruptcy but this is a price I am willing to pay for them.
On a normal day, I would have gone to Deluxe mall but today, mom said I should go to Bunsors as I am now a bride to be.
The driver wheeled into Bunsors and I alighted briskly. Just then, I spotted audriella and Sonia waving at me from audriella’s car. I think they came together.
I sauntered towards them and we took turns in hugging one another gisting and chortling happily after which we filed into the mall. My friends were happy to finally come to Bunsors as I'm sponsoring all we are buying. It is not like we can't afford Bunsors but then things at Deluxe are way more cheaper.
We got our shopping carts and started picking items, checking out designs and trying out accessories.
My dad's credit card got us covered so we can spend as we want. Sonia was the most thrilled. There was a lubuton bag she was eyeing and she got it first. According to her, she can't wait to make heads roll at a party she is going soon.
I was trying to get a Milan bracelet when I bumped into someone. I hate bumping into people and if this was a public place, I'd have walked away.
I looked up to see a pair of eyes I have learnt to hate for alm
ost ten years of my life. Those wicked eyes.
Sophia?
