A week later Justin's POV I have always loved this part of my father's mansion. As a child, I'd stay at this rooftop and watch the world below. It use to give me a sense of belonging and power as child, more like I can control the world. But today, I am thinking about the s**t I am about to enter. My father is making me marry a girl I barely knew. I girl I might never look back at on the streets. My ex, Sheila was my world, my first love, my life. What we have together is very special and loving that I would sacrifice everything I have to have her back but she threw my love into my face and shattered my heart by going with my best friend. .. I clenched my fists at the thought of Jayden. That motherfucker who stabbed me right in my back. Gosh!!. I have had to put up with a lot from humans. My first betrayal came from my mother. I can't believe she left me when could barely even recognize who she was. Memories with her seems very faint and distant. And now my father wants to pin a marriage contract on me for his dubious gain. I swear I'm going to make her life unbearable. Right from my childhood, my feelings have never been valid to anyone and even until now which is my adulthood, I still have to put up with them. I might not have a say in the marriage but then I promise the girl a horrible marriage. Downstairs, Angela and her parents have arrived for the wedding and preparations for the wedding are being discussed but I excused myself for a bit of fresh air. I can't stand in a place where a wedding I don't want is being discussed. I have met Angela only for a few times and I could tell she is a brat. Well, she chose the wrong man now. Few hours later Angela's POV I walked into the lounge that my supposed husband and I were expected to have a chat together. My parents were gone and Mr Theodore has promised that his driver would take me home after the ‘talk’ with his son. So, here I am on this talk with my soon to be husband who is busy in his phone with his couch opposite of mine. He has being tapping nonstop on his phone ignoring me like I was invisible and I ignored him too. We were expected to talk for an hour. According to his father, we should try and get along well now that our marriage is near. After almost forty five minutes if ignoring competition, he took his phone and left the lounge while on a phone call. I guess it was time for me to leave too so I took my handbag and just then, his mother walked in. Sophia's POV I glanced at my phone as Annie's voice filtered from the speakers. “Her father almost ran bankrupt when their most trusted worker, Mr Steve ran away with their money. I heard he hacked into all of their systems and transferred almost all of the fortune. I rolled my eyes at the mention of the word ‘fortune’. What Angela and her family had was wretch to me. My father has hundreds of it. “So her father ran to mine for help and just like you know, they are all the same. My father ruled that Angela would have to marry Justin for him to help them. I guess they have no choice but to succumb to the decision”Annie explained and I grinned. Eureka!! I have found it. I have gotten all of the details of this sudden marriage with Justin. I will make sure Angela pays for taking my man away from me. I will make sure keyboard warriors drag her on all social media platforms. I will troll her so much that she won't hear the last of it.
