Angela's POV
Mrs Theodore always strike me as a very beautiful woman even though her face declares some sort of wickedness. There is something about her that reminds me of wickedness.
During the introduction earlier in the morning, I could feel in my spirit that she does not like me. With the way she casted glaring glances at me, or the way she coldly acknowledge me, I can sense I do not measure up to her standard of likeness but whatever.
“Good evening ma” I greeted not knowing what else to say.
“I see you have not gone home. It says a lot about how much you have come to love the wealth that you got at the expense of your dignity.” she said and my eyes popped out.
Okayyy.
“Just because you are getting married into our family doesn't change the fact that you are a broke ass child, you and your family are our puppets and you'd have to dance to our tune. I hope you don't infect us with your wretchedness though. Pathetic child” she said and walked away.
I gulped while trying to process all she had said with an utmost effort to keep the tears from falling off my eyes. My lips shook badly and my right fist clenched in fury.
Is this the life I am getting into? Is this what will be the order of my marriage? Getting ignored by my supposed husband and still being picked at by my mother inlaw. For the first time in my life. I have to agree with a stranger's opinion about me. I am really a pathetic child.
I got outside and saw the fleet of cars, I can guarantee that no car her is older than the 2022 model. There was a guard waiting for me already.
“Ma'am, we have been instructed to take you home safely, the cybertruck is ready to take you home “ he said and bowed and for some minutes, I forgot all what Mrs Theodore said to me earlier.
“Okay “ I said and proceeded to enter the door opened for me. The guard entered the front door with the driver and the car vehicle wheeled out of the mansion. I smiled in tears.
If this is what being pathetic means, then I'd rather stay pathetic.
Sophia's POV
The moment I entered into the club, I sighted him immediately. He was just as he described. He had a blue top on with overly crazy jeans. From the look of it, he seems like the perfect man for the job.
I could have executed the task myself but I don't want it traceable to me in anyway. I need someone who can get the job done well, someone who is experienced in the craft.
“What do you want ma'am” he asked.
I tossed a picture of Angela to him, her name was written on the picture of her convocating in college.
“I want you to troll her. I want you to bring up crazy assumptions. I want you to imagine the worst and pin it on her. I want the world to talk down on her. I want every social media platform to talk down on her and her entire family” I said in the most angry tone I had and he nodded.
“I will be sending you some evidences and ideas but you have to assure me, will you do a good job?” I asked.
“In as much as you keep to your own side of the agreement, I am willing to do a great job for you. I have my keyboard warriors ready, she is going to regret ever knowing you “ he said and I smiled inwardly. He seems like the perfect person for the job.
“Alright then, your Money is never the problem. I'd pay you even before you start the job. I said and he nodded.
