Chapter 25 Chapter 25 My room was comfortable enough. It was not quite the Taj Mahal I had expected from seeing the brochures and hearing Alissa’s description. Nonetheless, with exception for the safety precautions that had been put in place, it was as comfortable as the average hotel room, and it had a very nice view out across the mountains. However, there was a metal screen across the window so one could not access the glass. It made the view a little dim, but I suppose it was part of their precautions with suicidal patients. I accepted that I had gotten myself into this mess by acting the way I did. Maybe, just maybe, these people could teach me how to control myself. They had fed me dinner in my room the first night, and then I was told not to eat or drink anything after midnight.
