Mr. Malvern was a somewhat chubby man who appeared to be in his late thirties or early forties. He was a fair amount shorter than Mr. Clayburn and, obviously, had eaten one too many pieces of pie. His straight brown hair was combed over to one side with a small part just above his left ear.
